Chapter 12

(Tyler's POV)

Beep... Beep... Beep

Everything was quit besides the beeping, I opened my eyes it was dark outside. I looked around my mom was a sleep on the couch, lassie a sleep in the chair, than josh walks in.

"Hey" he whispered, with a smile on his face. He took a seat on my bed, "Ty, I'm sorry" he said "I have to leave, I promise I'll be in touch. It's just I only got a few days off and it's been 3 weeks." 3 weeks I've been a sleep?

"It's okay" I tried to say but nothing came out. He understood and laid something on the table and gave me a hug. "Be safe" he told me. He let go and smiled, I watched him leave the room.

The door shutting and re-opening to let some light in woke lassie up. I smiled as he looked so confused looking around the room. He looked at me and I smiled, it was weird lassie didn't have on his normal uniform, and tie stuff. A tee and some comfy pants, maybe because he knew he was going to stay.

"You're awake" he smiled, he went to get up but I grabbed his hand and patted the bed. I moved over making room for him to lay down, he took the offer. Laying down I put my head on his chest and he covered us up.

His breathing was amazing to hear his heartbeat was too. He wrapped his arms around me, taking one and making little circles on my back. I didn't want to sleep at all, but I knew lassie fell a sleep after a few hours because the circles stopped and snoring was heard.

The doctor came in and checked everything. I acted like I was a sleeping, after the foot steps faded I opened my eyes again. My mom moved on the couch, she really shouldn't be sleeping on a couch.

Her blanket fell to the floor as she moved, of course she didn't wake up. I slowly got out of bed and went to pick up the blanket. Covering her up I kissed her cheek.

"I'm sorry" I whispered to her.

The ending was actually cute.
