As the bus pulls into the loading zone, I exit out with Dan and head to the cafeteria to get more breakfast. It's a little less packed since class will start in about 15 minutes or so. We grab some eggs, toast, sausage, and milk, then sit at the long row of tables in front of the window, our usual spot. The Twin sisters went to the main office after leaving the bus. They probably went to pick up their schedules. They had to be new to this school, or even this state. I know for certain that I've never seen them around the school. Besides, they seem so out of plays here, THIS IS PORT ST. LUCIE FOR CHRIST SAKE! What would girls like that be doing here of all places?

"Are you gonna swallow the fork too?" Dan asks, knocking me back to attention,

"You've had that in your mouth for a while now, and I'm slowly seeing it disappear."

I took the fork out of my mouth and laid my head down in my arm, still pondering assumptions on not only them, but why Dan was acting kinda strange this morning. The look he had in his eyes seemed like a mixture of both fear and anger. As I continued to think to myself, the bell rang, letting us know we have less than a minute till our morning seminar starts.

"OH, CRAP!" I shouted.

Me and Dan rush out as fast as we could, leaving our trays on the table without realizing.

As we leave the cafeteria, Dan's phone begins to ring and he pauses mid rush. He looks at his phone and his expression changes to something more serious.

"I need to take this, just go on ahead."

"Just let it ring! your gonna be late!" I remind him,

"Does it look like I care?"

"Whatever." I sighed, slightly annoyed with his response.

I rushed into my seminar class literally a split second after the bell rang.

"Just made it." My teacher says, with a slight muffle of laughter.

"Mornin'." I greet to her as I head to my seat,

"Alright everyone, put your phones away and let me have your attention please."

As she continues to talk about the learning goals and assignments we have to do, I lay my head down on my arm while looking forward, still a little tired.

"I know that your freshman year will be over in two months, but sadly, we all still have work to do. Besides, summer is still a long ways off, so we may as well get all the boring stuff out of the way as fast as we can, right? Also-"

I zoned out for about several seconds after Ms. Gostel's morning lecture. But, after she finishes explaining what we're gonna to be doing for the remainder of the hour,

"Oh, that's right. I got an email several minutes ago saying that we'll be getting two new students in this class today."

I pick my head up in response to her announcement.

"This late in the year?" asks a student,

"Well, everyone has their circumstances. It's out of my hands."

It's obviously those twins from this morning, but they're in THIS seminar class!? Am I using up my life supply of luck because of this!?(Assuming I have any). To be honest, it made me kinda happy. I'd like to at least be able to learn more about them, especially the goth-like sister. I just can't seem to get her out of my head. Not only because she's cute, but because of how she seemed this morning. Her dead eyes are fixed in my memory. She looked as if she was traumatized. Truth be told, I was honestly worried about her. I don't know the first think about her, but I can't get her out of my mind.
