*prologue*

Dear diary,

The flowers have bloomed, the leaves have come, spring is over, summer here I come.  

New Year is finally here, maybe, just maybe, things will get better and a leaf turns for me. Maybe, my path will become clear and maybe my prince will come.

2 months ago, my days would have continued as usual. I had school and received my homework, then after school I quickly went to the town centre, to collect my mothers dress from the dry cleaners. After that, I went straight home thinking my parents were going to be there. Ah! How I dread their return home and hate my life!

Hi my name is Summer. I'm 16 years old and yes, I am a girl just in case you're wondering. :D I have ash blond hair and ocean blue eyes with a hint of green in them.  

I am 5 ft 5 ½. I am the only child. I have a best friend called Jordan; I've known since kinder-garden. We both attend Winter Valley's school in Eohgean; we were in senior year meaning it's was my last year of school. I miss Jordan terribly since I moved.

The reason I hate my life is because quite frankly it's awful. I moved over two months ago, and I have to leave all of my friends who I really cared about and cherished. I miss the so much. I hope they haven't forgotten me, as I'll never forget them. I would call them to hang out but then my parents would probably find out where I am and if I do, I would have to run away again and start all over which is just too much for me.

The reason why I ran away from my life, family and friends was due to my parents beating me every darn night, just because they have problems with work or what ever reason. I think it was because they were disgusted with their own sad little lives. They always used to expect me to do everything, ever since I was five. I used to have to clean, cook, shop for groceries, and on top of that keep up with school and homework. You would think it was normal for parents to give chores to their child/ children but in my case every other teenager was very luck. I'm never allowed a break, nor allowed to go out. As you may say I'm a prisoner in my own home, in my own world.
