A few days after my talk with Chiron, I had a dream about Halcyon Green. I'm guessing my dad sent the dream like to say, This is what happens to bad boys who tell the future to mortals.

Anyways, I saw Thalia Grace and Luke Castellan head into the mansion with leucrotae, and man eating drapes. The leucrotae lead them into Halcyon's room where he was trapped. They found out about Halcyon's curse, how the leucrotae spoke for him, how he was locked in the mansion and was forced to live off of the rations that demigods that had been lured in brought with. He had been forced to wear the skins of Python, and was always lonely. I felt bad for him. Luke and Thalia did help him, I guess, by making Greek fire to escape. Halcyon had decided that he was going to sacrifice himself so that Luke and Thalia could escape. He gave Luke his diary and knife, before luring the leucrotae into the bathroom and setting the house ablaze. His last words were, even though the leucrotae spoke for him, "For Apollo!" a battle cry before burning with the house so that two demigods could escape. I wish I could be that heroic someday.

I woke up from that dream in cold sweat. Thἀvma was already up, reading.

"Do you ever sleep?" I asked.

She nodded turning a page. "I just get up early so I can read."

We got ready and headed to breakfast. Ethan and I talked about which was the best weapon, and we argued a lot about weather a sword or a bow and quiver was better, then Cindy told us to shut up because a dagger was obviously the best. That just lead to more arguing and Pearl and Jack backing Ethan up on how a sword was the best and we only stopped when we realized that Buttercup was videotaping the whole thing on a bronze camera.

Training went pretty well that day. Thἀvma and I raced up the climbing wall. She beat me, but I was getting better. She gave me pointers on how to time the boards that popped out to knock you off right. Ethan of course came over and distracted Thἀvma again so she slipped but I caught her—Just like how we first met. She punched me in the arm softly and joked about how I shouldn't act so 'heroic' all the time. Then she kicked Ethan in the place where Apollo don't shine and yelled at him—Just like old times.

We had Ancient Greek lessons with the Athena cabin. Thἀvma was actually as good as, if not, better, than the Athena kids. I guess she had read so much Percy Jackson books that she knew a lot of mythology. I was still learning, but remembering all those names was hard.

Thἀvma and I headed to the Pegasus stables after lunch. Thἀvma had a Pegasus named Flame, which had a beautiful red-brown coat, and I had one named Star, who had a white-sliver coat. We flew around the camp from above. Pearl joined us on her Pegasus Sea Shell, who had a nice whitish pink coat. Pearl's dad, Poseidon, created horses, so she could understand the winged horses. She told me that Star wanted some sugar cubes after we were done flying, and that Flame wanted his coat combed.

Just then Fernando joined us, on a beautiful black Pegasus.

"Hey Fernando," Thἀvma said, waving.
Fernando smiled and pushed his windswept black and turquoise shaggy hair out of his eyes. "Hey Thἀvs. Nice day for Pegasus riding, isn't it?"

I still felt a little uneasy around Fernando. He acted like a gothic guy sometimes, and could get angry easily. I wanted to be friends with him, but he tended to push people away.

Fernando's horse whinnied and Pearl smiled.

"What'd he say?" I asked Pearl.

"That's Blackjack, by the way," Pearl said. "A Pegasus that use to belong to my half-brother, Percy Jackson. Percy still visits him, but Fernando usually rides him. Blackjack's the only Pegasus that doesn't mind Fernando riding him."
