Chapter Nineteen. "Just Be You"

It's been three weeks. Last week I went come, My mom missed me a lot. Caleb and Katelyn was a couple. But the way Caleb looked at her.. It doesn't feel real.
Anyways, Lina was cheerful and more beautiful. Also different. She still has her brown eyes, but Lina dyed her hair blonde and it's perfectly wavy. Now started wearing dresses, and makeup. Don't worry, it's light makeup she doesn't put on too my makeup. If she did I wouldn't be her friend. Just kidding, I wouldn't do that. Today is Thursday and I'm standing in front of my mirror with my towel warped around my body. I sighed.

Everything changed.

Jacob starts banging on my door
"Corinne! Hurry up! Or else I'll eat all the bacon" He sings playfully

"Wait! I'm a girl I need my privacy, moron.." I rolled my eyes and put on my clothing. I was wearing a white crop top and black high waisted shorts, along with black and gold shoes. I grab my black rubber band quickly and tied my hair in a messy ponytail, I honestly don't care what people think of me. Maybe I do.. Like twelve percent! I mean, to avoid bullying you have to kind of look good. And I love my fashion. I actually feel bad for the nerds..

I shake my head, clearing the thoughts away. I opened the bathroom door and ran downstairs, I look around and only saw Jacob. I sighed "Mom is at work, isn't she?" Jacob nod with a sad smile on his face. "Welp. Don't let the bacon cool down! Get it while it's hot" I chucked "Yes and gets girls while their still looking fine" Jacob smirked and I rolled my eyes and gagged.

I grabbed five bacon and quickly shoved it into my mouth then I grab three more bacon and shove it into my mouth as well.

"Pig.." Jacob growled

"Pssh" I spit "Look there's two bacon left, do you want it?"

"Yes I do!" Jacob smiled and grabbed the two bacon and ate it. I put my black backpack around my shoulders as Jacob put on his blue backpack.
We had to walk to school because stupid old Jacob broke his car. How? Well, he drove to fast and crash into a tree! He was lucky he didn't get hurt.

I open the front door and exit the house, I heard the door closing knowing that Jacob was right behind me. Jacob and I walk to school in silence. There wasn't much to talk abou-

"How's dad?" Jacob asked with a concern voice. Maybe there is something to talk about.

"He's doing good. And he is marrying a perfect women" I grin I was happy for my dad.

"I haven't visit him.. Should I go to his mansion after school?" I nod. "Don't worry." Is all I said while patting his back.

I push my backpack into my locker and had my books in my arm. I slam the locker shut causing some people to look at me, ON accident.

I glare at the people who was staring at me "Stop staring at me. Seriously you guys act like you never seen or heard someone slam their locker shut!" I rolled my eyes. They started to mind their own business.

"Hey Cori!" Lina greeted and was leaning on someone locker that was by mine. I smile for a quick second "What's sup Lina?" Lina sigh and giggled. Damn. Some of Lina's blonde wavy hair was on her shoulders, her brown eyes twinkled and she was wearing a light pink dress that was by her knee. She was also wearing black high heels. I'm shocked that she hasn't trip yet. Yet.

I raised in eyebrow "Why were you giggling-" I gasp "Do you have a crush on someone?!" I exclaim. Lina quickly slap her hand into my mouth "Shh! Don't cause a scene." I licked her hand and she wiped her hand on her dress with a disgusted face "Ewww..."
