Chapter Sixteen. Heart-Broken

                   🌑Corinne POV🌑

Step One: Get my dad to agree with me about having a slumber party
Check!

Step Two: Invite your friends AKA Lina and Caleb
Check!

Step three: Buy food
Check!

I giggled, I'm so excited. This is gonna be my first time hosting a slumber party, and being at one. I put on my unicorn pajamas, Ahh.. Cozy. I glance at Katelyn, who was fixing her hair and already have your pajamas on. It was the same as me except it was a cat, it perfectly matches her.

I heard the doorbell ring "I'll get that!" I shout. I run downstairs as fast as I can, I open the door "Welcome to my mansion" I wink playfully at Lina and Caleb.

"Wicked, I love your Mansion it's so huge and cute!" Lina said in awe, Caleb smiles "It's okay. I still think my mansion is better than yours." They both walk in "We have the food in the kitchen! Ooh ooh! And my sister Katelyn!" I drag them upstairs and into my room.

"Huh, is this your friends Maddie?" Katelyn asked with a smile. I nod

"Hi! My name is Lina! This is Caleb" Lina greets happily, Caleb smiles at Katelyn. Do they know each other already? Katelyn gets up and walks to Caleb, ignoring Lina

"Hey, Caleb." Katelyn's eyes sparkles

"Hey. You must be Maddison's sister" Caleb grabs Katelyn hand and kisses it.

"Okay stop, you love birds. I'm gonna use your bathroom okay Cori?" Lina looks at me, I slowly nod.

"Mhm, I'm gonna use the other bathroom." Caleb said, exiting the room.

"So you already know Caleb?" I ask without looking at Katelyn, "Yeah, isn't he hot?"

I gag "N.O that's gross. What the heck happened to Katelyn?" I glared at her

"Your just jealous." Katelyn smirked

"No I'm not" I growled

"Denying it isn't a good choice"

"I'm not denying anything! I'm just speaking the stupid truth, He isn't hot." I coughed, clearing my throat. The bathroom door started to open, revealing Lina in her pink shorts and a pink heart tank top. She walked over to us and sat beside me "What are you guys talking about?"

"Nothing" I said almost instantly.

"O-Kayyy. Corinne, let's go make popcorn" I nod as I got up and lead Lina to the kitchen.

                 💋Katelyn POV💋

Maddie shouldn't deny her feelings, that's like denying the fact you cheated on your boyfriend. I'm smarter than that, I mostly get A's and B's. And I am not a nerd, I'm more like popular.
I suddenly hear someone sitting in front of me "Huh?" I look up and saw Caleb. And must I say, he's shirtless and have his boxers on. His abs are to die for! It looks so.. I don't know how to describe it, he should be a model.

"Hey" Caleb smiled and I smiled back

"Hi" I played around with my hair.

"So, Corinne is gonna be your sister?" I nod silently, Is he interested in Caleb? My smile slowly faded away.

"I heard you're going to the same school as Corinne, that's cool because I go to the same school as her."

I force a smile "Cool! I get to see you more"

"Do you think Corinne is single?" Caleb smirked, my smile and happiness disappeared. Pain flashes through my eyes "She's single.." I murmured, looking down. I don't want to look at him right now, I just can't! He sure knows how to break girls heart.

"Are you single?" Caleb asked and I stare at him

Silence filled the room.

"Y-Yeah" I blushed with a small smile, He gently grabbed my hand

"Do you want to go out with me?" My blush deepens. Caleb wants to go out with me?!

EEEEEEKKKKKKK!!!!! *fangirls*

🌑Corinne POV🌑

Lina was downstairs, waiting for the popcorn. I lean again the wall by my room

"Are you single?" A deep voice asked, I'm guessing that's Caleb. I couldn't breathe, I stayed silent.

"Y-Yeah" Katelyn stammered

"Do you want to go out with me?"

I stop breathing for a minute. Caleb asked Katelyn out.

So what if they date?

I don't know..

Don't you feel.. Jealous by any chance?

What? No, I'm not jealous.

Heartbroken?

... I might. Wait, why do I care? I don't like Caleb, Yep I don't like him. He likes Katelyn.

How do you know? You're forcing yourself to believing those things.

He likes Katelyn, NOT ME!

"Y-Yes.. I will go out with you, Caleb" Katelyn said happily. Katelyn is happy with him, she deserve him.

One tear fell down my cheek, I quickly wipe it and ran downstairs and smile.
I pretend I didn't know anything and walked towards Lina. She's holding the popcorn in the bowl "Yum.. Looks good!" I chuckled "Now let's head upstairs" So I can stop their love. Lina nod and we made our way upstairs.

I froze when I was by my doorframe, I gasp. My breathing hitched, I couldn't move. I didn't believe the scene I saw in front of me. Lina stood beside me with her eyes widen open. I hold back the tears.

Caleb and Katelyn was kissing.. With passion. They really do like each other, eh? I sniff.

Lina cleared her throat and slapped Caleb "Stop your love thing stuff!"
I ran downstairs and went inside the bathroom, I lock the door and stared at the mirror. I don't like Caleb, I don't like Caleb. He's just pathetic, he's a player, he's not worth my time.

I hope they are happy together.
