Lucas POV ///

It was like my world collapsed all at once.

The Girl I loved so much didn't remember me.

She remembered everyone else, including Missy Bradford. But not me.

I don't know what to do.

I don't think she'll ever remember me.

I go to the Hospital everyday, and talk to the girl for hours.

"Hi, Maya." I say, ignoring my heart that's on the edge of breaking.

"Hi...Uh-uh...Luke?" She says.

"Lucas." I correct.

"Oh," She says, embarrassed.

"You wanna talk?" I ask.

She nods.

I tell her about my hopes and dreams.

About how we were a couple.

How we've been through so much.

How we made out in the rain.

How I give her piggy back rides.

How I love her so much.

Our biggest adventures and arguments.

She just nods and smiles at my stories.

"I wish you remembered me, Maya."

"I'm sorry, L-Lucas. But it's hard for me, and it's not my fault." She pleads.

"It's not as fun anymore," I whine.

"What's not?"

"You don't remember all the nicknames you called me. Or how you loved me and I love you? How we smiled at each other all the time? You don't look at me the same way anymore..."

"I still smile at you,"

I shake my head.

"But you are just a stranger."

I wince.

"Maya, M-Maya, you have to remember!" I say.

I don't bother to wipe my tears.

"I'm sorry, but you can blame the person that did this to me."

"I just don't know you. I don't know what your talking about or what the hell your saying." Maya said.

"You remember everything else that happened except for me?" She nods.

"Do you remember Mrs. Friar?"

"Yes." She answers.

"Will that make you Remember me?" I ask.

"Why? It's not like you were related?" She says back.

"Liv, Parker Rooney?" I question.

"Ooh, yeah the famous Sing It Loud and Voltage girl?" She fan girls.

"Um, yeah. You were good friends with her." I reply, getting nowhere.

"Luke, I'm so glad we could become friends." She smiles at me.

"Lucas," I correct again.

"Visiting Times are over," The nurse says, practically shoving me out.

"B-but I'm family!" I attempt.

The nurse eyes Maya.

"I know you love her, kid. Give it up. She doesn't remember you."
