“Bye sucker!” my sister yelled as she screeched out the door and into her current boyfriend’s yellow corvette

“Bye” I yelled half-heartedly

“Jesse! There’s mail for you” my mum yelled from the kitchen.

“One moment mum” I told her

I was so done with this life. I was terrorized by my sister, bullied at school, and I was just done. Oh, I ought to introduce myself. I’m Jesse Hollaw, a 15 year old boy who is believed to be gay. I am not gay. I enjoy dance, photography, reading and woodcarving. I have shoulder length wavy white blonde hair, and electric blue eyes. I get teased at school for being ‘the perfect gay boy’ (despite the fact I’m not gay, but whatever) I also have an older sister. She’s one of those girls you automatically cross the street to avoid. She has dyed black hair, and an attitude to match. She is covered in piercings and tattoos, which she did not have permission to get, but that’s not going to stop her. She also terrorized me for no real reason. Does she hate me? Quite possibly. Do I return the favour? Occasionally.

“Jesse are you coming to open your mail?” my mum called again

“Yup” I called back

I trudged into the kitchen to open my mail. I nearly got hit in the face with the swinging door into the kitchen. I flipped through the multitude of envelopes sitting on the counter. Why do we have so many bills and stuff? It’s the 21st century is it not?

“Bill, bill, bill, sister’s boyfriend, bill, oh here it is!” I muttered as I flipped thought the envelopes

“So what is it?” my mum bounced into the kitchen

“Hold on! I haven’t opened it yet” I told her

The envelope had no return address, and it was made of heavy creamy paper. I grabbed our letter opener and slit the top of the envelope. Inside there was a single sheet of paper, folded twice.

“What’s it say?” mum asked

“Wait a moment please!” I said, slightly exasperated

Dear Mr. Hollaw,

Mr.Charrmain

“So what’s it say?’ My mother asked yet again.

I simply passed her the letter to read herself.

“Ok, so do you want to pack and I’ll call or-”

“You actually want to call?! It’s probably some hoax!” I interrupted her

“I guess I will call then. You go up and pack” Mum said resignedly
