“I’m a werewolf” said Ryan
“I’m a shifter” both Erik and Aaron said.
“I shift to a panther” Erik explained
“And I shift to a lynx” Aaron finished
“Oh, cool! Is shifting painful?” I inquired
“Yeah, but usually only the first few times” Aaron said
“Hey Jesse, you got a girlfriend back home?” Ryan asked
I snorted “Uh, no. I was the loner who got good grades, was not out late, and my teachers loved. My schoolmates hated me”
“Oh, that’s cool man” Erik said supportively
“Do any of you have girlfriends? Or boyfriends? I’m cool with that too. Oh, and how old are you all?” I asked
“Well I have a steady girlfriend named Summer, and I’m 16” Aaron said
“Same, my girlfriend’s name is Jessica” Ryan told me “Oh, and I’m 15”
“I’ve had a few off-again-on-again girlfriends, and I’m 17” Erik replied
“Cool! Well I’m 15 as well” I replied
“Aha!” all the guys said
“Umm what?” I asked, a little weirded out
“Well for some people, their supe abilities start showing when they’re 16, so that would probably be why you don’t know this” Ryan explained.
“Oh well, at least I could still be a normal supernatural.” I replied
I had kind of accepted this supernatural stuff. I mean these guys are so serious about this, it could be true, and I’m starting to believe them. I kinds believe the fact that I’m a supernatural.
“I’m gonna crash. I’ve had a long day.” I declared “Oh what time are lessons?”
“Usually around 8 o’clock” Aaron said
“Alright, g’night” I replied
“G’night” the boys said
It took me a long time to fall asleep, but when I did, I slept like a rock. At 7:15 my alarm went off, and I rolled out of bed. I had a cold shower, revelling in the way the water woke me up.
“Jesse if you want breakfast, you better hurry up. We’re leaving in 10!” Erik called
“Okay, be there in a moment” I yelled back
I hopped out the shower, towelled off my hair as best as I could, and parted it. Then I went to my closet and automatically pulled out jeans. Then I remembered how the guys were dressed yesterday so I peeked out the door to see how they were dressed today. They all had on nice pants. Not slacks exactly, but nice pants. Okay. I guess no jeans then. I pulled on some brown pants and a light blue button-down. Then I grabbed a dark blue tie and ducked out the door.
