Prologue

Eleven

I woke up in a dark and cold place , there were little white flakes that were floating in the air , I have a little trouble breathing but I gather all my strength to stand up when I did a strong wind blew , my knees felt weak I fell on the cold viney ground and noticed a tree it's bottom trunk was glowing , not a strong one but a weak one I crawled and touched it , it was slimy just then I heard a loud screech it was a demigorgen I crawled inside the tree hoping it won't follow me in I reached for the other side I stood there looking at my surroundings I was at the forest where Will got lost I recognized it immediately and saw the same spot where Mike found me , this forest really gives back memories I was still tired so I sat beside a tree and slept.

Mike

It was a normal morning my breakfast was eggos , it  made me think about El Sha was really amazing memories came of her came rushing back in my mind then someone knocked at the door , I snapped back ito reality mom answered it officer hopper was there with a person about my age I can't really see him or her though until mom signaled me to come over the person went in I stopped walking I can't believe my eyes it's her it's really her "El!!!" I shouted I didn't care if Nancy was there or even Steve I ran to her and gave her a bone crushing hug I heard her whisper in my ear
" snowball? " I can't believe it she remembered I pulled back and grabe her shoulders " Yes of course El I can't believe you remembered  the snowball is tomorrow Saturday "  I said , mom cleared her throat we looked at her I pleaded to her to make El stay good thing she said yes but there's also a catch El should go to school today with me she said that  she needs education and she'll come with me and El today to enroll her to Hawkins middle school I agreed to our little agreement after that She took Els hand and took her upstairs for a bath after that they went to Nancy's room and changed into her clothes El doesn't need a wig anymore because she already had a pixie cut hair she was wearing a blue dress she was still cold so she borrowed my jacket Nancy told her that tomorrow before the snowball she will take El with her to shop for some new clothes we went in my mom's car and went to school we went down Dustin , Lucas and will were waiting for us Dustin was the first to notice we were there he and Lucas noticed El they ran to us and hugged El I came over to will who was watching them we approached Dustin and Lucas who were hugging El I told them how I saw El and we introduced will to El we became friends easily we walked to class and Mr Clark said there was a new student which was El and we proceeded through the day it's actually a good thing that troy was sick that's why he was absent and we weren't bullied for the day

We went back home to play D&D El sat next to me and just observed our game Sha actually looked interested though Will looks uncomfortable while playing , he keeps looking at the windows and at the door I asked him what's wrong he only shook his head saying no but I guess there is something wrong though anyway El stood up and told me she's just going to sleep and went upstairs we continued the game until it's time to go home Dustin and Lucas went home first and Will will wait for Jonathan to come because Joyce was paranoid that it will happen again , we sat on the couch after a few minutes Jonathan came to pickup Will and they went home I went upstairs and looked for El it was dinnertime and mom is already setting up the table I found El sleeping in my room I sat next to her and gently shook her she woke up I told her it's dinnertime and we have to go down to eat she just nodded and went downstairs with me we sat down and looked at our food it was meatloaf she looked at me questioningly " what is a meatloaf " she  mouthed I just got my fork and got one and put it in my mouth and made a thumbs up she tried it and she liked it but of course she loves eggos more mom says that she can sleep on the top bunk because my bed was a bunk bed , we went upstairs I gave her some of my clothes and waited for her to dress up in the bathroom I also got some and waited outside of the bathroom we slept peacefully that night

Nancy already bought El some clothes she was pretty satisfied with the clothes but once she saw the dress she was going to wear , her face lit up and thanked Nancy for the clothes she was really happy for the clothes also the guestroom is now hers Mike helped El design it , El was really happy that day they put all El's new clothes
In her closet finally it's time to go to the snowball we wore our clothes I wor my suit and I'm kind of impressed on what I looked like El went into Nancy's room to wear her dress and Nancy will put on El some make up , El doesn't need makeup anyway she already looks beautiful but Nancy insisted to put makeup on El , El went out of Nancy's room I just looked at her stunned she was wearing a white dress with sequins on her hips , it was a simple dress but she looked beautiful in it though "pretty?" She asked "Yes El , really pretty " I can see mom smiling at the corner of my eye though she was holding a camera in her hands she cleared he throat me and El looked at her " pictures " she said with a smile me and El smiled at the camera after the pics we went inside the car and mom drove us to the school .

We went inside the school gym here was a lot of people and some music and a large disco ball hanging on the celing El was amazed on how it sparkled I just looked at her smiling then we saw Dustin and Lucas by the bowl of punch then I heard a very high pitch voice we four turned around including El we saw Chloe while, El was gone she was a very annoying girl she's in our science class she stood there waving like a mad man she ran at my direction and hugged me El gave me a look and I can see she was very confused,Dustin and Lucas just turned around and I just rolled my eyes and pushed her away "hey Mike! " She said I just looked at El and held her hand Chloe looked at El and me then she said " who is this? why don't you introduce us Mike ? " I just sighed and said " El this is Chloe and Chloe this is El " of course I didn't tell Chloe Els real name she would freak out " Mike's girlfriend " Chloe said El just frowned and looked at me I looked at Chloe I liked to stab her to death actually El walked away " great job making my DATE cry " I told Chloe angrily she just looked at me satisfied of what she has done.

I looked for El I can't find her I went outside and saw her there sitting at the floor with her head down I can tell she was crying I sat beside her and hugged her she looked who it was she looked up at me she looked so angry " she wasn't really my girlfriend , she was just being really annoying as usual"  she finally hugged back and we came in she looked at Chloe as if she was about to throw her to the window but instead she made Dustins drink levitate and splash it to Chloe's face me , El ,Dustin and Lucas snickered while others were shocked and others were laughing while she came to our direction because the restrooms are just behind us I told her how karma worked fast she just said "hmp" when she saw me and Els hands were interlocked and quickened walking to the restroom El looked at me and asked about the dance we went to the middle of the gym and I held her waist she looked at my hand on her waist and I took her other hand and put it on my shoulder and placed my hand on her waist again and instructed her that when I take a step forward she should move backward and so we danced but at first it was really awkward at first but she kind of swayed at the end of our dance we were looking at each others eyes and the song was turning to muffled noises and we started to lean in I didn't care if anyone is looking at us we kissed we heard a loud scream we broke and looked at the person or thing who made such a loud noise it was Chloe we thought it was something we wouldn't expect but it was just her she ran to the restroom again and it was time to go home mom picked us up.

We were at the car mom asked if we had fun or whatsoever and we just smiled

We went home safely I gave El some of my comfortable clothes and she went to the bathroom after her I came in and changed I went into her room and found her sitting on her bed I sat beside her she smiled and rested her head on my shoulder  ' I want to stay in this position forever ' I thought but we have to sleep and mom might catch us and make El go and stuff like that and I told her we should sleep and she just layed down on her bed I kissed her forehead and stood I said "goodnight El" "goodnight Mike " she responded I went back to my own room and slept
