Akito's head was entirely sunk into the mud. The swamp nin looking pleased with himself tells the proctor that it's over and she's not getting out of there. I see Gaara's sand start to descend toward the mud obviously going to get her out. That is until Akito starts resurfacing covered entirely in mud and it looks like she's pulling on an invisible string to get herself out of it. That's when I realize it is string, she had wrapped it successfully around one of the guarding rails. She climbed onto the ground and started coughing. She then stands up and wipes the dirt from her eyes.

She pulls on the string that got her out of the mud and then lets it go. When she does I watch as it back lashes and hits the bulk right in the nose. He falls back on the ground and covers his now bleeding nose and Akito takes this opportunity to put her blade to his throat enabling him from getting up.
"Forfeit."
"You don't have the guts little girl he growls." She laughs.
"You just dragged me into dirt and now I'm standing here looking like a mess in front of my cute boyfriend. Try me." I look over at Gaara who seems pleased.
"Alright, alright I forfeit." He grumbles and Akito let's him up.

"Misahi Akito wins this match." The proctor declares. Siri, Kari, and I all go down to congratulate her. Gaara gets there first and Akito goes to hug him getting mud all over him leaving him grumbling she comes towards us for a hug and we all back up.
"We're good until you get a shower." I say sweat dropping.
"Oh, I'll have to go asks the medical ninja." I'll be back to watch the other fights when I'm done. She says walking away. We all go back to the second floor and watch as the board starts to flash with names. Naruto and Lee shouting at it to pick them the whole time. It finally stops.

TSURUGI MISUMI VS. KANKURŌ OF THE SAND

"Is his last name of the sand?" I ask stupidly which makes Kari sensei hit me upside the head.
"Great the sand Shinobi is going." Kiba says.
"What's wrong with him other then he's a total a hole."
"Well for one his brother is terrifying."
"Gaara? You do know him and Akito are dating right?"
"What? Seriously? I didn't think a guy so blood thirsty could get a girlfriend. Especially before me." He says astonished.
"Blood thirsty?"
"Yes... In the Forest of Death we accidentally stumbled upon him and his siblings and he crushed a man with his sand. After that he said it wasn't enough and he wanted more blood..." Hinata says in a scared voice looking over at him.

"I have to agree. The way he behaves worries me especially him being around Akito, but I can tell he loves her. He was just dealt a bad hand in life. That's why he acts the way he does. No ones born a monster. They're made into one." I say looking at him too.
I look back and notice that everyone. I mean everyone including Choji who had been stuffing his face earlier was looking at me. "What?"
"That was deep oniichan." Ino says in awe.
"Yeah, it was very wise." Shika admits. I see Kakashi, Kurenai, Gai, Asuma, And especially Kari sensei all staring at me like I've become a fine Shinobi or man in life or something.
"I don't know what you guys are getting so chocked up about. I was just saying the truth." I say while looking down to see Kankurō had already won the next match and the board was spinning again.

I had noticed after my little speech Sakura had went to the restrooms and Ino had followed her. Sakura had made her way back already and was laughing at something Naruto has said.
"This isn't the time for laughing." Kakashi says to her pointing at the screen.

HARUNO SAKURA VS. YAMANAKA INO

Ino comes back and looks at the board. I could tell by her expression this was the last thing she was expecting. I walk up to her and ruffle her hair.
"Good luck out there. Remember just because you and Sakura were childhood best friends doesn't mean you need to hold a grudge on her." Ino looks at me then nods making her way down toward the other floor. Choji and Shikamaru start complaining about how it had to be Sakura Ino was going up against.
