Siri Fights

We were all lined up in our teams. Team 7 being right beside ours. We were waiting on the Hokage to give us details about the next round. He congratulates us all and then the proctor of the exam begins explaining how we're going to have preliminaries. Most everyone starts complaining about how we just got done with the last exam and they asked if they were going to have a break. The proctor explains that there's not going to be one and this is just a test round to see who makes it into the final battles since there are to many people to proceed on with the fight.

He then goes on to explain that if none of us are feeling up to the task then just drop out. The white haired guy with the ninja info cards from earlier raises his hand. Naruto starts freaking out on him asking why.
"I'm sorry Naruto. I'm just all tired from the other exam. I don't have it in me to fight for my life right after that." He heads towards the entrance leaving a devastated Naruto strain after him. I wonder how those two became so close... Really suspicious to that how many times he's failed he's just going to give up like that. My suspicions about him being a spy is most likely true.

I see Sakura going to raise her and and Sasuke grab it.
"Sasuke I don't think you should continue with..."
"I'm fine. Don't tell them anything." He says back coldly.
"Sasuke, if something's wrong with you then I think you should listen to your teammate." I say worrying for his health.
"What's it to you anyway." He says not even looking at me.
"Dude, we're childhood best friends and I for one like to believe that's still true. I'm only tellin you this for your own good. What if it acts up and you're taken out of the exam completely?"
"I've got it under control." He says turning his attention back to the proctor.
"Has what under control?" Naruto asks curiously.
"Nothing" Sasuke says obviously not wanting Naruto to know.

The proctor proceeds with the instructions. Telling us that our names will appear vs whoever else on the board behind him. We then wait to see who the lucky or unlucky souls are.

UCHIHA SASUKE VS. AKADO YOROI

Great, of all the people to go first it was Sasuke who just dealt with some serious trauma. I don't think the universe like him very much. We were then instructed to move onto the floor above us to get out of the way of the fight. I could tell Sakura was worried and I went over to make her feel better.
"Hey Sakura." I say leaning on the guard reel.
"Oh, hey." She says turning towards me.
"Sasuke will be okay. That guy has nothing on him." I say... Right when Sasuke's chakra is being depleted from his body by the dude. "Well... He'll figure something out."
"You're right! He will. I can't believe I ever doubted him." She says enthusiastically. Watching the fight even more intensely then before. Can't tell if I made it better or worse...

I turn to my team and see Akito talking rather rapidly about how she's going to crush whoever her opponent is. Kari sensei is laughing a cheering her on the whole time she's talking which is encouraging Akito even more. Siri's being talked to nonstop by Kiba who's telling her to watch his battle since it's going to be the most epic. She smiles and says she will. I walk over towards them and pet Akamaru.
"So are you ready for whoever your going to face?" I ask.
"Hell Yeah we are! Aren't we Akamaru!" He shouts while Akamaru barks in agreement.
Hinata waves at me from behind Kiba and I wave back.

"How have you been?" I ask her.
"I've been good. What about you?" She asks with a gentle smile.
"Great, I bet this fight will be easy for you. You do train your butt off." Hearing this her smile grows with gratitude. I just so happened to be passing by one day when we were still in the academy and I had seen her practicing her palm justu. I had then started helping her try to improve it to prove to her father that she was a great ninja too.

Shino and Kurenai come into view and Kari sensei tackles her into a hug.
"It's been so long!" She shouts. Kurenai sweat drops along with Kakashi who wasn't that far away from us.
"We just saw each other." Kurenai States.
"Yes, but we didn't really get to talk. You were to busy ogling Asuma."
"W-what?! You're the one who ogles not me!" Kurenai says blushing.
"I don't ogle Asuma."
"I meant Kakashi." Kari's face turns bright red and you can hear Kakashi laughing from behind her.
She turns and glares at him.
"You shouldn't be laughing when you have to watch your students fight." She tuts. Kakashi shakes his head and goes back to watching Sasuke.
