"I'm sorry master, please forgive me!" Luna cried "Not this time slave!" her master yelled pointing a blaster at her head "I've put up with you a lot but this was the last straw" "Master I promise I won't run away again, I'm sorry" She said with fear in her eyes "Too late slave" He pulled the trigger. Luna jumped up in her bed, soaked in sweat and shaking "It was just a dream" she whispered falling back on to her pillow and wiping the sweat from her forehead. It had now been two whole months sense she met the man and she had almost given up hope of ever being free, as she lay there a thought came to her "What if I ran away?" but then she had another thought "What if he came after me and shot me like in my dream" she clenched her teeth "It may be my only chance, she pulled back her blanket and slipped out of her bed "But I least have to try" she told herself while she got dressed, grabbing an old sack and tossing some of her outfits in it, she stood up and looked around seeing if she missed anything that she would need "I hope I never see this room ever again" she said under her breath. She quietly pulled back the cover of her door and peeked, she saw no one, she walked out and down the stairs and round a corner then up the stairs to the kitchen, she peeked her head in and saw that no one was there, tiptoeing in she grabbed a loaf of bread and jug of water shoving them into her sack "I'm ready now she thought walking out of the kitchen and down the stairs, at the bottom of the stairs she could hear someone talking, she ducked down under the stairs, as she peeked out from under the stairs she could see it was her master and someone she didn't know, she listen what they were saying
"I tell you she's strong and hard worker" her master said "And would make a fine slave for you"
"I don't know" The other man said "I'm looking for a slave older then 14"
"But i'm sure she would work just as hard as a full grown slave" her master said "and I'll give her to you for lets say 150 credits"
"Hmm You drive a hard bargain" that man said starting up the stairs "What did you say her name was?"
"Luna" was her masters replied.
Luna's eyes widen "He's gonna sell me?"
''Alright let me think about it" said the man
"Take your time" her master said as they both walked up the stairs and threw the doorway.
Luna waited a moment then took that chance to bolt out from under stairs and down the hallway, she ran until she reached the back door, there she quietly open the door and slipped out thinking she would never see this place again.
"Keep running" she told herself "Keep running"
Luna had been running for miles, only stopping a few times to catch her breath.
The sky was just starting to lighten when she stopped again, she looked back and saw nothing then reached into her bag and pulled out the jug of water and gulped it down, she set it down and wiped her mouth, her feet were sore and she was tired.
She flopped down and looked at where she came from, the city looked like a little speck now, as Luna looked at the city she slowly started nodding off until she was asleep.
Luna woke up with a start "How long have I been asleep?" she asked herself looking around, the sun was up and it was bright out "Oh no!" she said out loud jumping up and grabbing her sack, she started running just as she did she heard the sound of a speeders motor, she looked around for a place to hide but there wasn't anywhere where she could.
"No, no, no, no, NO!" she told herself as sound of the motor got closer "I'm not going back" she said whispering as she ran but she knew that she would never make it and she would ether be beaten for running away or worse "My dream" she thought "I was killed for running away, maybe that is what will happen"
she gasped as she saw the dirty dusty speeder speed by her then it come around and stop in front of her and she could see it was clearly her master and he was with a couple other guys whom she had seen a few times at his party's.
"Well, well look who I found" her master said smirking, he started walking over to her as she backed away "Master please" she said "You thought you can run away and live?" he chuckled "Not this time" he pulled his blaster out " And not ever" "Please master, forgive me!" she pleaded "I already said" he pointed the blaster at her head "Not ever"
A bright red light went thew his heart, killing him, as he fell to the ground, behind him stood a man with a double sided lightsaber in his hand
"Greetings gentlemen" he said.
All of them pointed there blasters at him "Who are you?" one of them asked
"I am many things but to you" he inhaled deeply"I am your worst nightmare" he said igniting the other side of his saber
"All men.....FIRE!" said one of the men, they all started shooting at him, he deflected all of them, sending the blasts back at the men killing a few, he jumped at the men and stabbed them, killing them all except the one who gave the orders.
He forced the blaster out of the guys hand and started force choking him "You will trouble her no more" then broke his neck.
The whole time this was happening Luna had hid behind one of the speeders and watched in awe as he killed the men without breaking a sweat, The man turned to her, put away his lightsaber and removed his hood, he was a Zabrak with black and red tattoos all over his face, she gasped "You're the man from the party, the one who said I could be a very powerful human"
"Indeed I am" he said "I am Dath Maul, your new master and I will train you in the ways of the Sith"
