"We have arrived at the final door" Maul said turning to Luna
"I'm I opening it by myself?" her voice sounded tried and a little bit angry
"No" Maul shook his head "You've done a wonderful job but you seem tired and you must save your strength"
Luna nodded "Thank you.....Master"
She stretch out her arm and Maul did the same, there was that small humming noise that Luna had heard early and the door started to rise. Luna stretched out her other arm and closed her eyes until the door opened completely, when she opened her eyes there was a bright red light on the far side of the room.
They walked in and Maul turned to her "Here is where you will construct your lightsabers" he walked to the middle of the room and pulled a piece of rolled up animal skin out of his robe "Come" he sat down, crossing his legs and waving his hand "Sit"
Luna walked over and sat a few feet away from him and watched as he took the skin and unrolled it, reviling parts to build a lightsaber "Now" he pulled out a small handheld hologram and activated it "This will give you instructions on how to build it" he set it down next to the parts.
"Um" Luna looked up at him and opened her mouth as if she was going to say something but quickly shut it then opened it again "So....um I just follow what it says?"
Maul nodded and then reached into is robe again and pulled out a small red crystal and put it down next to the parts
"What is that?" she asked
"It is a synthetic lightsaber crystal" he replied "It is what gives a lightsaber its power, now just concentrate, see the way in your mind"
"Alright" She breathed in deeply threw her nose, closed her eyes and breathed out "I can do this, I can do this, I can do this" she reached out her hands and picked up the pieces, her hands started to shake as she let go of them and they started to flout, the pieces started coming together but all the wrong way, she let out an angry groan and the pieces dropped.
"Try again but this time really concentrate" Maul said
Luna force the parts into the air again and started putting them together. I big evil smile crossed Mauls face as he saw that she was putting them in the right order "Good, very good" he said, the smile had gotten bigger.
Her lightsaber had been put together, all that was left was the crystal, she forced it into the middle of her saber and and closed it, dropping in into her hand and opening her eyes, she looked it over then ignited it, there was a loud humming noise as the red blade came out
"Good, you're ready to move on to the next part of your training" Maul said picking up the skin and getting up
"What part is that?" she asked
"Training" he started to walk away but stopped and turned around "Take out your weapon" he took out his and ignited one side, Luna took out hers and ignited it, she struck the Shii-Cho pose and exhaled
"Lets do this."
"Ahhhhh!" Luna yelled as she sprung across the room and their sabers collided, making a loud buzzing noise, she was using almost every bit of hate and anger as he had told her, and yes she felt ever so powerful. with her blood was rushing threw her veins, she stuck his lightsaber again and jumped back.
Maul could feel and see her hatred as she stood there but she was clumsy and would end up getting killed if she continued to fight like that.
"You're to clumsy, apprentice" he said backing away "fighting like that wil only get you killed"
She lunched herself at him, he do dogged and her blades struck the ground, he forced her, sending her flying through the air and hitting a wall, she let out a pained yell as she fell to the ground, she groaned as she got up and wiped the blood from her lip, she growled and force the lightsaber back into her hand, she jumped at Mual and ignited her saber, hitting his and sending sparks flying, Lina thought of something with Maul busy blocking her saber his legs where open, quickly lifting her leg she sent it flying at his knee, she let out a yell and fell to the ground
"I'm sorry apprentice" he chucked "but lets just say I have strong bones"
Luna lay on the ground holding her leg "I-I-I think something wrong with my leg"
Maul keeled next to her and examined her leg "it's not broken" he said getting up "Stand" he held out his hand, Luna took hold of it and pulled herself up, she groaned at the pain
"Again" Maul said igniting his saber.
Luna ignited her saber, posed and breathed out "it begins again" she told herself.
