I meet Theo in the junction, and grab two smoothies. Two Peach. Our favorite. He's already here, sitting on the couch. He's writing something in a journal. Probably lyrics for a song. I slide next to him on the couch and he smiles when he sees my presence.
"Hey, there." Theo says, putting an arm around me. I smile and lean into him, tired. He kisses my forehead. I sigh and I see people staring.
"People are staring." I whisper, a little embarrass. Theo lightly laughs and squeezes me in our side hug,
"I don't care." He kisses me again, this time on the cheek. I blush and look at the lyrics he's working. They're sweet, airy, unique. Just like him.

I yawn as I sit at the piano in the rose room. I stayed up all night working on my song. I decided to go with a piano interlude instead of a guitar riff. I slam my head on the piano, tired. Wanting sleep. The keys create an awful noise as my forehead connects with the keys.
At least I finally got it done.
I think to myself. I lift my head just in time to see Harley walk through the doors. She's smirking. I ask,
"How was dance?" I yawn, not covering my mouth. Harley giggles,
"Good, but you should ask Hazel." Hazel's been spending time at the Next Step a lot lately. She wants to sing and dance. But if you ask me, I think she really goes there to see West. They've been hanging out a lot lately and I think it's cute.
"Why-" But before I can spit it out, Hazel comes flying in, which isn't like her. She's smiling, face red and cheeks full. She squeals. I add, "Whoa, what's with you?" she squeals again and Harley laughs. She squeals again,
"West! West-he-" She can't get it out, but I'm filling with anticipation. I shoot up and run to her, shaking her. I exclaim,
"Spit it out! Will ya?" I'm so excited. Harley laughs again and Hazel finally gets it out,
"West...asked me out!" I squeal and we all hug. It's a little cheesy but we don't care. I'm so happy for Hazel! THis means a lot to her, and I hope West treats her right.
West: I asked Hazel out because I really like her. She has this magic in her. It's like a light, and I couldn't help but like her. She's an amazing girl.
"When's your first date?!" I ask, and this time Harley answers,
"Tonight! It's short notice, but I guess he couldn't wait." I clap and tell Hazel,
"Well, then, let's get you ready!" We walk out, and head to my house. I think John and Luke are there, but I'm not sure. As we're leaving, I exclaim,
"Can we go get coffee? I'm exhausted!"
