A slight breeze pushes my hair into my face. I brushed it away and continued to read my book.
"Come on Nikkie!! Let's go in the water!" Shawn said kicking some sand on my back
"What the hell Shawn?" I got up and patted my back trying to take the dirt off
"Sorry." He said covering his eyes from the sun
I looked at the ocean and saw the guys splashing each other. Hayes caught my eye and waved at me. I smiled and waved back.
"Ok fine I'll go...."
"Aye!" Shawn interrupted me
"Only if you give me a massage later" I grinned
He huffed "fine"
I smiled and jumped on Shawns back
"Let's go!" I said pointing towards the water
We ran into the crashing waves and met up with the guys.
"Let's play.. What's it called chicken?" Aaron asked
"Ok Shawn and Nicole Vs Hayes and Nash" Cameron yelled as a wave hit us
Hayes got on Nash's shoulders and we faced each other.
"Ready" cam put his arm in front of us
"Set.... Go!"
Hayes and I pushed each other.
"Your going down son!!" Hayes yelled
"Ha you thought!" I pushed Hayes with all my might and he fell back.
When Hayes resurfaced Nash pushed him, "wussy!"
When the other guys realized I won they clapped and helped me off of shawns shoulders. It was kinda hard since Shawn is 6'1 while I'm 5'6.
"Who's next?" I asked and no one answered. I looked at Jack and he put his arms up.
"I don't want to lose to a girl." I furrowed my eyebrows
"How rude!" I said splashing him and it turned a water fight.
*later that night*
"TAYLOR, STOP!!!" I was running away from Taylor, I accidentally ate the last cookie which he reserved. But I mean who reserves a cookie when there are 10 boys??
"You ate my last cookie" he said trapping me in the janitors closet.
"Now you shall pay!!" He said as he started tickling me
I slowly fell on the floor laughing my butt off.
"Are you gonna say sorry?"
"So..r.r.y" I said trying to catch my breath
"Do you mean it?"
"Promise!" I said holding out my pinky
He wrapped his pinky around mine and smiled.
"Let's go!" He said skipping out of the room
'What the heck is wrong with that boy' I thought to myself
As we walked out Matt was walking past the closet. My smile faded as he looked at me with no emotion at all.
Yes, we haven't talked in weeks. Yes, I miss him. Because yes, he was my best friend.
"Hey, it's ok" Taylor said wrapping his arm around me. He used his finger to wipe away a tear that had fallen out of my eye. I didn't even know I was crying.
"Yeah, it's totally fine that my best friend won't talk to me anymore." I faked a smile and walked away
"I thought I was your best friend?" Taylor yelled
I shook my head and giggled. Once I reached my hotel room, I collapsed onto the bed. My phone rang and a picture of Hayes popped up.
"Hello?" I said into the phone
"Hey! Nicole what u doing?"
I sat up and played with my feet
"I'm basically doing nothing. Why?"
He hesitated before answering, "do you wanna go to the movies?"
I smiled," of course"
Even though I couldn't see him I felt him smile, "ok then I'll pick you up at 7"
I looked at the clock and it said 5:56pm.
"See you then!" I hung up then went to take a shower.
~after shower~
I got out of the shower and put on my outfit for the date. (Outfit I put^^)
I applied only mascara and lip gloss, since I'm not the best at make-up. After I finished, I got out of the bathroom and sat on the end of the bed. My phone buzzed while I was putting my shoes on.
Shawn😫👅💦: So a little birdy told me you were going on a date tonight
I smiled and replied,
Me💩: I wonder who told you that, but....ITS TRUE!! Hayes asked me out.
As soon as I put my phone down it buzzed again.
Shawn😫👅💦: should I go with you guys? You know just in case😉
What is wrong with this boy?
Me💩: No Shawn😂 I think I'll make it out alive this time.
Shawn😫👅💦: what if he touches you?
Me💩: then I'll slap him silly😂
Shawn😫👅💦: I'd do more than that. Hey can you bring me back some candy?
Me💩: sure thing😉 gtg Hayes is here

I turned off my phone and put it to charge. I looked at the clock and it read 6:45, dang I got ready fast, world record anyone?
I laid down on my bed, and closed my eyes for just a minute. Or that's what I was going for.
