"The what?" Moses and I make our way to our room where we'll be staying until we could figure what to do with the village, and why the fire king was there.
"The Elemental ball! I'd figured it'd be fun and—" he slams the door shut. "No." He simple says. "No? But we could get our outfits done by that Icarus guy and—" Again he interrupts me.
"Who? Ugh! Never mind. I said no, we don't have time to do any of that stuff right now." I sigh and plead him to at least try new things. At least for me, I've never been outside the force field and it's my first time.
"ELora. We didn't leave the village just to go to some stupid party! Our people are in danger right now! Please understand!" I stay there in silent wanting to speak, but I couldn't. So I start for the door. "Where are you going?" He asks. I could tell he was mad, maybe even upset. "Just going to get some fresh air."
I didn't want to push him. But he does have a point. My people are in danger. They risked our lives for us to escape.
But what would mother say if she knew that we left for a good cause. I sigh as I opened the back door to a small garden with a pond. I listened to every cricket creep and frog croak. An owl hooting every now and then. Aquatia at night seemed so peaceful. I look up at the stars. Everyone of them shined so bright.
I tried to look for the gods and goddesses constellations that I read from one of moms books.
I found maybe one or two. I sit there on the bench. And I start to sing the lullaby she used to sing for us almost every night.
I remembered her sweet voice, the way she would always brush her fingers through my hair. I begin to remove my braids as I hum the tune.
"I know that song anywhere." I turn back seeing it was Moses. "You really need to stop doing that."
He walks awkwardly towards the bench and sits next to me, looking up at the stars.
"It's... nice to see the sky more clearly." I look up to too, and then back at him. "Moses what's wrong? I've been noticing you act strange lately."
He sighs looking back at me. "I'm just stressed. That's all." I wrap my arm around his shoulder. "You shouldn't be. You have to keep thinking positive and don't let your guard down. Don't forget that we're twins. We can do this together." I smile already feeling sleepy.
"Yeah I know." He gets up "But I'm still older than you!" He starts for the door as I follow him back. "Yeah by like two seconds!"
He laughs "Three!" I punch him inside and into the room upstairs.
"Ow! Why do punch so hard?" He rubs the side of his arm. I laugh as I punch him again and again. "You didn't think I spent my whole life doing nothing did you?" He chuckles as I hit him with a pillow I grabbed from the bed.
"Ah! I knew you trained but not like this." He laughs and grabs a pillow from his bed.
He swings if hovering it at the top of head as I try to dodge it. "Okay okay! I give up!" We both laugh. And the next thing we know it, we knock out in our beds.

I woke up the next morning feeling excited. Still seeing Moses asleep from the other side of the room.
I examine the beautiful spacious room. It was shaped almost as an attic. Forming like a triangle almost. I notice the little things that I haven't seen.
It's quiet. I can hear the birds chirp. The sun starting to shine through. It reminded me so much of home, so much like my childhood. I noticed the bag that Moses took for me when we left.
