Chapter 15- The End of the Beginning

Finally. Finally there is peace in the galaxy. No war. No fear. Just peace.

When we got back everybody was cheering and congratulating us. A couple of people gave Ben a dirty look, but we'll have to explain the situation to them.

When we walked into Leias office, she had a huge smile on her face. She walked over to me and gave me a big hug. "I knew you could do it, Rey."

"I still can't believe that I did."

Then she lrt go of me and went to Ben. She looked up at him. Ben had the most guilty expression I've ever seen, on his face. "If you leave and break this girls heart again," she said as she pointed to me, "you will be grounded."

"But mom- "

"No buts. Only her butt." She said gesturing to me. I can't believe she just said that. Then again, I can.

I got a look at Ben's face. It was so red from embarrassment. It was kinda cute.

"Mom! She's right there!" He whispered shouted, even though I could still hear it perfectly fine.

"Ben, it's fine lets just go find Finn." I said pulling on his very muscular arm. He nodded and then we both said goodbye to Leia.

"Finn!"

"Rey."

After about an hour of searching for Finn I finally found him.

I let go of Ben's arm and ran over to Finn to give him a great, big hug. "So how does it feel to know that you saved the galaxy?" He asked.

"I still can't believe it." I said as Ben walked over and put a arm around me.

"And I see you got your guy back." I nodded and kissed Ben on the cheek. I could see the satisfaction on Ben's face.

"Well, I'm Happy for you guys."

"Thanks, Finn." I said bowing my head a little.

Poe came walking over and putting an arm around Poe. "Maybe we could go on a double date?" Poe asked. I widened my eyes and looked at Finn. "Oh... yeah... I mean, sure, if it's cool with Ben?" I look up at Ben and smile. "Yeah, sure." I jump a little and clap my hands. "Yay."

A couple of months has gone by and Ben and I are doing fine. And so have Finn amd Poe. They started dating a week after we defeated the First Order. I still can't believe that the Dark Side is gone, completely. It feels like something's off.

I'm supposed to go down to the beach with Ben this evening and I know exactly what to wear. Leia gave me this beautiful dress.
It was white and had a silver belt that formed a little down arrow. She said it was the dress she wore while she was awarding Han and Luke because they defeated the first Death Star.

I put on the dress and it fit perfectly. I hope Ben will like it.

I did my make-up and decided to leave my hair down. I walked out of my chambers and went down to the beach.

When I got there, Ben didn't  even recognise me at first. "Ben, it's me, Rey." He widened his eyes. "Rey?"

I nodded. "Yeah."

He smiled. "Geez, if you were dressed like this the first time we met, I would of just left the First Order and run away with you."

I chuckled. "So what are we gonna do today?"

"I was thinking maybe we could just walk along the shore and talk and maybe go get something to eat if everything works out."

"Works out?"
