Chapter 6 ~ First Day

Victoria's POV

"Ma'am, we will be having a board meeting later in 10 minutes and a meeting with Mrs. Castillo about her investment for the Costa Hotel" Carly updated.

"Okay. Inform all the assigned employees na ayusin nila ang presentation later. We are expecting a big client" I said.

"And Ma'am, here are the papers and contracts that needs to be signed" sabi ni Carly sabay abot sakin ng isang folders na naglalaman ng iba't ibang papeles.

"Alright. You can go now, Carly" sabi ko. Tumango lang siya at umalis na. Since kinuha ng gunggong na Nathan na yun ang precious time ko kahapon, natambakan tuloy ako ng gawain. Pumasok bigla si Carly.

"Ma'am, Mr. Baretto is on the phone. He said there is something important that he wanna discuss you with. About the rest house daw po" she said. I know what he want. He want me to work as his maid, damn jerk.

"Tell him that I'm seriously busy right now" I reply.

"Okay Ma'am" sabi niya at umalis na.

Nathan's POV

"Sorry sir, but Ms. Casabuena is seriously busy right now. Is there something you want to inform her?" sabi ng secretary niya. Umiiwas siya.

"Nothing. Thanks" I simply said and ended the call. So umiiwas talaga siya? Let's see about that.

I called her directly on her phone.

Victoria: Can't you understand? I'm really busy right now!

Me: Oh? Sorry wrong number. Tatawag sana ako sa Alpha Company about my rest house. Number mo pala napindot ko. Sige ibababa ko na.

Victoria: Wait!... What do you want, really?

Me: I need a maid.

Victoria: Okay. I'll send someone there para maging maid mo. Happy? 

Me: No. Gusto ko ikaw.

Victoria: What? Gusto mo ko? Hahahaha!

I paused for a second and think... Shit!

Me: I mean I want you to be my Maid you stupid!

Victoria: Yeah right. I don't believe you.

Me: Then don't. I'll gonna end this call. Tatawagan ko pa ang Alpha Company.

Victoria: Wait! Okay I'll be there in 20 minutes.

Me: 20 minutes?! Ang tagal!

Victoria: I have a board meeting in 10 minutes and meeting with an investor in 15 minutes. Ano? Uunahin ko pagiging maid kesa pagiging CEO?

Me: Okay. Bilisan mo dahil marami kang gagawin dito.

*Call Ended*

Nahiga muna ako sa sofa at kinalikot ang phone ko.

"What's that? Can wait to see our new maid?" Ricky said teasingly.

"Sira. Umalis ka na nga" sabi ko sabay bato ng unan. Paalis na siya ng bigla siyang lumingon.

"Infairness, bagay kayo. Ayyiiee!" sabi niya sabay takbo.

"Bakla!" pahabol ko sa kanya. Napangiti ako. Yun ang laging sinasabi samin ni Victoria dati nung kami pa, kesyo bagay daw kami o kaya naman kami na may forever. Pero wala eh, wala talagang forever. At dahil nakakainip tumira sa malaking rest house, natulog muna ako.

Victoria's POV

"Thank you Mrs. Castillo for trusting our company. I'm assuring you that you won't be dissapointed" I said.
