Chapter 2 Breaking and Entering

Shaws P.O.V.

I walk up to the doors of the enemy base it's been 1 hour since we attacked the base now the, last of the enemy are isolated on the other side of the door from us. Sgt. Ruiz gives us the signal we place a small bomb on the door and get ready to break in. I count down the seconds 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0 boom fiery explosion erupts from the door blowing it to rublle. Quickly I turn towardsthe door pointing my p90 into the doorway 10 shots is all it took to drop 3 body's to the ground. My team mates took care of the rest. Then the sound of gun shots erupted from behind me I turned around just to see my Allie dropping to the floor. I look around to see what happened when I saw two bogies coming in the room. I made sure to take care of them nice and swift. Then I here Sgt. Ruiz's voice shouting man down I repeat man down get a medic now.

Cowboys P.O.V.

I stood there bewildered at what I had just seen. What I found sad is the fact I didn't know that guy, I didn't even know his name. Yet seeing everyone grieving over his death I couldn't help but wish I had known the him. But we couldn't let his death get in the way of our mission and I knew it too. I walked over to Sgt. Ruiz and put my hand on his shoulder reassuringly. "Sir we can't morn over him any longer we have a mission to complete." "plus it's too late anyways." "We need to keep moving or even more men may get shot. "Your right we need to keep moving, sgt. Ruiz commanded Quickly but yet the slightest bit hesitantly ( because Of the man we lost earlier) we moved our way into the base step by step man by man rifles raised. We checked every corner put a spy glass to every crevice we wouldn't let these rats escape. No not after what they did to us not after what they did to his family. They would pay and we would make sure of that. These ISIS rats would pay, we were not letting them get away with this, and they didn't. We rounded a corner when multiple rounds of ammo started pounding the Earth in front of us. They were here they were right around the corner quickly we turned around and ran a little ways backwards. I was the first to react I pulled a grenade out of my grenade pouch on my utility belt. I pulled the safety pen with my teeth hand tossed it around the corner in the direction of the gunfire. I could here the sound of about 5/10 foot steps running away. Boom the grenade detonated meeting it's new best friend who was blown backwards about 10 feet and faced a terrible dark doom awaiting him. Quickly we pursued the enemy forces I saw them up ahead I raised my m4 and let it rain. The sound of heavy gun fire bounced down the corridor . Seven limp bloody body's drop to the floor. "That's it Sgt. Ruiz said said mission complete casualty report one and a darn sad one too. "Shaw call base tell them mission complete and we need some boys pick us up," he commanded.
