++"You have sustained no significant damage. You are free to go. We are sorry for your loss." Minji sighed as she signed the discharge papers, putting her name and address at the bottom. No significant damage. She was okay. She slowly exited the hospital, shaking from the cold. Luckily, she wasn't far from home as she was literally on her own now.

A few nights ago, Mr. Park had driven past a red light, resulting in a car crash involving themselves and two other cars. Her mother and Mr. Park had both been killed. By some miracle, Minji was okay, but her phone and bag were destroyed, meaning she had no way of talking to her one friend. Kookie. Was he okay? Did he think she had abandoned him? She ran home, getting the spare key under the doormat and opening the door to her home. Since she was 18, she could live on her own here, and now she was. Alone. She didn't have the crushing grief of when her Appa died, for she did not truly have the love for her mother that she had for her father. Her mother, who had forgotten her own daughters birthday.

"Appa..." She whispered into the air. "I wish you were here. I'm so lonely now. There's this really great guy, Jungkook. We met online and he lives in Seoul. He makes me happy and the loneliness goes away when I talk to him. I-I need to go n-now... Saranghae, Appa."

It was around 11:30 am, and she threw on some clean clothes and went out the door. Apparently her mother had left her some money, and there was some lying around in the house.

She made it to the mall and quickly entered a phone store, buying the same phone that she had before, an iPhone 4s. Not much, but good enough. She activated it as soon as possible. Luckily she had backed up her phone so she got most of her stuff back, including Instagram where she spoke to Kookie.

She instantly opened the app and logged in seeing that she had dms. Some of them were fans of her account that were worried about her, but the most recent one was from Kookie: I miss you.

She read through the texts he had sent her, a tear falling down her cheek. Someone cared.++

++Minji picked up, already knowing it was Kookie. "MINJI!" A voice screamed.
"Kookie!" Minji cried, not being able to hold in her tears any longer. She didn't understand why she was so upset. "Kookie..." She repeated, quieter.
"Minji?" Jungkook's worried voice spoke through the phone. "Minji, what's going on?"
"They're dead! Kookie, they're dead!" Minji cried again, her voice shaky.
"Hey, hey, Minji, deep breaths, tell me what's going on."
"There was a car accident-"
"Oh my god are you okay!?"
"I-I'm fine but my phone broke... And... My mother and her boyfriend... They.... didn't make it..." Minji sighed.
"That's it." Jungkook said firmly.
"What?" Minji asked.
"I'm getting my ass over to Busan... You're on your own, aren't you?" Jungkook asked, worry traced in his voice.
"Yes." Minji sighed. She really wanted Jungkook to come, but she didn't want him to come if he was spending all his money or something. "I'll be on the first flight I can."
"A-Are you sure?"
"I'm sure."
"Thank you, Jungkook."
"No problem, Minji. I-I'm going to check the flights, call me if anything's wrong, okay?"
"Okay."
