++Minji sighed as she put down her phone. Jungkook was out with his friends so wouldn't reply to her messanges, and she had nothing to do.
What Jungkook had said bothered her though, highkey wishing she was here. Did he mean her? No, of course he didn't, he wouldn't want to hang out with her. But he had said so? Minji buried her head under her pillow and screamed into it.
"Minji! Come downstairs! We need to talk!" Her mothers voice rang out, and Minji unwillingly hauled herself up. "Coming!" She straightened her black jumper and skirt, rushing out of her room and down the stairs. "Eomma~" Minji called as she entered the room, to see her mother, and another man that wasn't her father, sitting on the couch doing things you wouldn't want to see your mother doing with a guy that isn't your father. She knew that her father wasn't going to come back and save her this time, she knew that too well. The loss of her father still hurt, and seeing her mother with another guy this soon hurt even more. She deserves to be happy, a voice said in the back of Minji's head, and it was right.
"Minji!" Her mother breathed, seeing the sad, shocked expression on her daughters face. "Meet Mr. Park! My boyfriend." Those words sent shivers down Minji's spine. Boyfriend. "Oh." Was the only thing she said. "I- I hope you're happy together." She whispered, before rushing back upstairs to her room, picking up her phone and texting Jungkook.++
