chapter 8

Brooks P.O.V

After the party I speed up to my room and get ready for bed, I go into the bathroom and close the door, I put on a purple tank and black shorts, I come out and instantly Im pinned up against the wall by my throat, in front of me is a girl and she looks just like me.

"Who are you?" I ask.

"I'm a stronger you Brook." She answers, then she squeezes her hand tighter around my neck, then Im thrown against the wall and the impact takes the breath out of me, she speed over and picks me back up by my throat and throws me against the wall again, then she picks me up by the throat.

"ALAREC HELP!" I get out as she squeezes harder, then she lets me go and I fall to the floor, I look up but shes gone, then Alarec opens the door and speeds to my side.

"What happened?" he asks.

"Did you see the girl?"I ask.

"What girl?" Brook whats going on? he asks, so the girl was just in my mind but it felt so real.

"Nothing, never mind." I answer, Alarec looks at me with unbelief, but I smile at him, and he nods, then he leaves, what is happening to me? Was the girl really there or was it just me? I sigh, and then I lie down and fall asleep.

Time skips............

I wake up to a voice; I open my eyes and see Nick hovering over me.

"Nick, what are you doing?" I ask him as I sit up, he doesn't answer, I look into his eyes and they change from green to red, then I'm thrown against the wall, the impact taking the breathe out of me, I gasp for air as Nick speeds up to me, he grabs me by my throat and pins me up against the wall again.

"AARRGGHH!!" I scream as he bites down on my neck, then I fall to the floor and Nicks pinned up against the wall by Alarec, he pushes him off and Alarec falls to the floor.

"NICK WAKE UP!" I yell, he turns his head, then his eyes change back to their natural color and he looks at me with wide eyes.

"What! Brook I'm so sorry I.I...I don't know whats happening to me." He stutters

"Nick its alright I'll be okay, but you need to control yourself." I answer him, then I smile and shine my eyes at him, he shines his back and nods, then he leaves and Alarec speeds over to me.

"You sure you're okay?" he asks, then adds "that's one bad bite, I don't know what to do with him, ever since hes seen you for the first time he's not been able to control himself."

"So you're saying I'm the reason he can't control himself?" I ask.

"No, what I'm saying is he loves you so much that his losing control and he knows you don't love him back is what's tearing him apart." He answers, and the words he said were tearing a hole right thru my heart, I don't want to feel this pain any more it hurts so much, I say in my mind.

"AARRGGHH!!" I scream as tears run down my face, I look into Alarec's bright eyes, and then it all goes black.

Alarecs P.O.V

I hear screaming and speed to Brook's room and there biting down on Brook's neck is Nick, I speed over and pin Nick up against the wall, then he pushes me off him and I fall to the floor.

"NICK WAKE UP!" Brook yells, Nick turns his head and looks at Brook, then his eyes change back to their natural color and looks at Brook with wide eyes.

"What! Brook I'm so sorry I.I...I don't know what's happening to me." He stutters.

"Nick its alright I'll be okay, but you need to control yourself." Brook answers calmly, then shines her eyes at Nick and smile, Nick shine his back in response and then he leaves, I speed over to Brook's side.

"You sure you're okay?" I ask, and then add "thats one bad bite, I dont know what to do with him, and ever since hes seen you for the first time hes not been able to control himself."

"So you're saying I'm the reason he can't control himself?" she asks.

"No, what I'm saying is he loves you so much that he's losing control and he knows you don't love him back is what's tearing him apart." I answer.

"AARRGGHH!!" she scream as tears run down her face, she looks into my eyes and then faints in my arms, then I lay her down on her bed and cover her up, then I speed to the door and leave.

The Next Day

Brooks P.O.V

I wake up and look around, yesterday was weird but I don't feel sad or angry I'm just happy, I think as I skip to the bathroom, I put on a red tank and white skinny jeans, then I walk out and there sitting on the edge of my bed is Alarec.

"Hi sweetie." I say as I kiss him on the cheek, then he looks at me weirdly.

"What?" I ask.

"It's just you've never called me that before, what's happened to you?" he asks, I just smile and shrug, and then I speed down stairs and find Nick on the couch looking in the distance.

"What you doing?" I ask him as I sit down next to him.

"You shouldn't be around me Brook I'm dangerous." He answers, I just smile at him and then I speed to my room and close the door.

Alarecs P.O.V

I wake up and speed into Brook's room, then I sit on the edge of her bed and wait for her to get out of the bathroom, she opens the door and looks at me.

"Hi sweetie." She says as she kisses me, I look at her confused.

"What?" she asks.

"It's just you've never called me that before, what's happened to you?" I ask, she just smiles and shrugs, then she speeds down stairs, then I speed to my room and wait until I hear her bedroom door shut, and then I speed down stairs and find Nick on the couch.

"Nick is it just me or do you think Brook did something?" I ask.

"I think she turned off her humanity and that's why shes acting so happy." He answers.

"If she has then we'll have to try and get her to turn it back on." I say, he nods then goes into the kitchen, then comes out with a chair and some rope and sets it in front of the window.

"The first thing we have to do is take her daylight ring and tie her to the chair in front of this window." He says motioning to the chair and rope, I nod and then run up to her room and pin her up against the wall.

"What're you doing?" she asks, I pull off her ring and put it in my pocket, then I smack her up against the wall and the impact knocks her out, then I grab her and speed down stairs, then Nick ties her to the chair and we start torturing her.

Brooks P.O.V

I'm sitting on the bed reading the book, when Alarec come barging in, then he has me pinned up against the wall.

"What're you doing?" I ask as he holds my hand, he pulls off my ring and places it in his pocket, then I'm smacked up against the wall and it all goes black
