Chapter 14

Nick's P.O.V

A few hours later I'm laying in bed snuggling Brook, I kiss her on the forehead as she falls asleep. Then I soon follow, when I wake up Brook is still asleep so I get out of bed quietly and let her sleep. I go to the bathroom and take a shower, when I get done I see Brook sitting on the edge of the bed. Rubbing her belly she sings a lullaby and I walk to her, I sit next to her and rest my head on her left shoulder.

"Brook, can you make me a promise?" I ask her after a minute.

"What is it?" She asks.

"If I die before our little girl is born, can you promise that you'll keep her safe?" I ask her.

"Nick, you're not gonna die." She says back.

"Promise me." I say.

"Ok, ok I promise." She answers, I sigh and kiss her on the cheek.

Brook's P.O.V

I sit there as Nick falls asleep, then I hear a clatter in the kitchen to see what made the racket. Then I see Alarec there with a stake gun, I walk to him.

"Alarec, what's wrong?" I ask as I stand behind him, then a shadow crosses my sight and I gasp afraid.

"Don't be afraid Brook, I'm here." He says taking my hand, I pull back and look around. Alarec sighs and looks around the room, then a guy appears in front of us. 

Alarec growls "William Ellison." He says annoyed.

"Why it looks like you're not happy to see me Alarec and who is this beautiful glowing young lady of yours?" The stranger asks as he kisses my hand and I look at him, he has brown hair almost black and is dressed in a Black suit. Nick speeds downstairs and stands in front of me.

"Don't you touch her ever again!" He yells at William as he pushes him away from me.

"Whoa, chill out Nick. I can here to warn you, Rachel is back and she's coming to kill your little hybrid lady here." William says, then a woman comes into the room and she looks identical to me. I stand there shocked as she smirks showing her fangs.

"Well, well isn't it the Jackson boys. Now give me the girl and I'll let you two boys live, William grab her." She says pointing to me, Alarec picks me up and vs away as Nick runs towards Rachel.

"Let me go! I need to help Nick, put me down! I scream trying to get away, Alarec sighs and shakes his head.

"No, I promised Nick I would take care of you if anything happened to him so stop wriggling." He answers back, once we lose William Al puts me down. I try to run but William comes out of nowhere and stabs me in the stomach making sure he hits the baby and me, I gasp out and fall to the floor. The last thing I see is Al and William fighting, then I black out.

Hours later……..

I open my eyes and jolt up, I look around as I'm in my room and I see Al sitting on the edge of my bed.

"Al, please tell me the baby's okay? Is she?" I ask, he looks down and I start to cry. I scream and the windows shatter, then I black out. I wake up a couple hours later and Nick is sitting there, I hug him and cry into his chest.

"Shhhhh Brook, I'm here now. My poor baby, our little girl." He says tears run down his cheeks, he lays down next to me and holds me as we cry together. Al leaves us alone and closes the door, I fall asleep after crying too much.
