The Next Day
Brook's P.O.V
I wake up and see Col still sleeping soundly, so I quietly walk to the bathroom and get changed. When I walk out Col is instantly in front of me, he leans into kiss me, but I stop him. Why did I stop you? Something's not right, I look into his eyes and kiss him, but I pull back instantly.
"What's up?" Col asks.
"Nothing, but I think you should leave now." I answer.
"No, I love you Brook." He says.
"And I love you, but I don't want you to get killed, so please leave." I say, he nods as I open the door. I walk him to the front door and kiss him goodbye. But when I turn around I see Nick and and see he's holding out my daylight ring. I quickly grab it and slide it back on my right ring finger, then I run as fast as I can into the the woods. But Nick is right behind me, he passes and stops right in front of me, then I run into his hard chest.
"What do you want Nick?" I ask as I rub my nose.
"I want you to turn your humanity back on; you said yesterday that today you would turn it back on." He answers. I can see he's worried about me.
"No, I won't and you can't make me." I say.
"What if I killed Nate? And the only way to save him was to turn your humanity back on." Alarec says. He holds Nate by the throat, ready to break his neck.
"You wouldn't dare." I say in a husky voice, Alarec narrows his eyes as he takes him and breaks his neck, then throws him down.
"NNNOOO, HE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING TO YOU, YOUR A FUCKING IDIOT!!!" I yell as I fall down to my knees beside him. Then something clicks inside and I remember everything that's happened, Alarec and Nick torturing me.
"AARRGGHH!!" I scream out in pain, then I fall. I open my eyes and there holding me is the man I truly love.............Nick.
"I love you Nick." I say with a smile, then it all goes black.

Nick's P.O.V
"I love you Nick." She says, then faints; I look at Alarec and see he's as shocked as I am. What does she mean she loves me? Does she know I love her? I thought she loved Alarec; does she really truly love me? Why did she fake it with Alarec? I think. Then I pick her up and run to the hospital, I lay her down and kiss her on the cheek. Then I leave the room so the doctor can find out what's wrong.
Time skips.............
The doctor comes out with a sad look on her face.
"So.........what's wrong?" I ask as a worried look crosses my face.
"She's in a very rare coma and we don't if she'll ever wake up, I'm so sorry." She answers. She puts a hand on my shoulder as she leaves, I run into the room and grab Brook's hand.
"Brook, if you can hear me don't leave please, I need you and I love you more than anything else. Even more than life itself, I would give my life for you, but please don't leave me please." I say. Tears run down my cheeks, then I feel a hand on my shoulder, I turn around and see Alarec. His cheeks are stained with tears, I stand up and pull him into a hug.

Brook's P.O.V
I wake up and I'm in a white room this time, I look around and see Nick.
"Brook, if you can hear me don't leave please, I need you and I love you more than anything else. Even more than life itself, I would give my life for you, but please don't leave me please." He says. Tears run down his cheeks, I start to cry, and then I hear footsteps.
"Don't cry Brook, it'll be alright." A voice says, I whip around and see my mum.
"What're you doing here mum?" I ask confused.
"Sweetheart, your father and my time was up and we died of old age. But it's okay because it's not your time, you still have a full life to fill. So just close your eyes and picture where you want to be." My mum says.
"Um.........mum can I ask you a quick question?" I ask, she smiles and nods.
"Okay, will Nick and I ever get married?" I ask.
"That's up to you, if you want to be with Nick or not and if you love him as much as he loves you." She answers.
"Thanks mum, love you. Send a guardian angel to watch over us." I say as I hug her.
"Goodbye darling, love you too." She says, I close my eyes and picture lying on the hospital bed. When I open my eyes I'm lying there looking straight into Nick's beautiful green eyes. I smile and shine my eyes silently saying hi, he shines his back.
"How long have I been out?" I ask.
"About 3 weeks, but nothing interesting happened." He answers.
"That's weird it only felt like 10 minutes." I say.
"Okay, my turn to ask a question, do you really love me?" He asks, I smile and pretend to be thinking, after a few minutes I tell him what I feel in my heart.
"Of course I do, I love you and I heard what you said the first day I went into a coma." I say still smiling. He nods and starts smiling too, then of course in comes Alarec and my smile disappears.
"Hey, how you doing?" He asks smiling as he sits next to me, I lean over and give him a hug.
"I'm doing great." I answer and his smile grows bigger as he nods, I turn around and kiss Nick.

"Come on you two love birds, let's get out of here. This place is starting to creep me out." Alarec says with a hint of sarcasm in his voice. I laugh as Nick helps me out of bed, then Alarec tosses me some clothes, I run to the bathroom and get dressed. When I come out I see Alarec and Nick both laughing.
"What?" I ask as they both look at me.
"Nothing babe, come on let's go." Nick says, I grab his hand and we all walk out. We get to the front desk and Nick checks me out, then we all pile into Alarec's car. I jump in the back and Nick slides in next to me, then we drive off.
A few minutes later my phone blips, I look and Nick is texting me (even though he's right next to me)
Nick: Hey, can I ask you something?
Brook: Sure, shoot
Well tonight, would you..........I mean can you..............will you go on a........
On a date with you tonight, yes I would love to
Well what time?
How bout 7:00
Okay and somewhere quiet
Yes, okay now stop texting me, bye
Bye
