Kyle

"Max... Why?"  I ask.

"Honey,  I'm not going anywhere. I am perfectly happy with the life I have at this exact moment. Our marriage has put me in the best spot ever, and I love our son. All I am doing is getting a pack of cigarettes. Don't worry. I'll be back soon." He says calmly.

"Max, I've seen enough movies to understand you won't be coming back. You don't even smoke!"

"Please relax. I'll only be gone for a few moments."

Max comes over to me, gently kisses my on the cheek, walks out the door, looks back and says:

'I love you, Samantha Oak."

He closes the door. I hear his car engine start up, and drive off. There I am in tears, something that hasn't happened to me in a very long time.

I wake up to hear my mom talking with a nurse about someone's conditions. I couldn't quite figure out who. I was pretty groggy.

"He should be okay, your husband, not so much. The air bag wasn't in the compartment."

"Why does this keep happening to me?" I hear my mom say.

"Mom?" I say hard to hear.

"Oh, my god. Kyle you're awake! I was told you were going to be out for a lot longer! it's only been 3 months!"

I try to talk, but my voice hurts and whatever comes out it's inaudible   and suddenly it all becomes black.

The blinding light hits me again, just like before but this time I heard someone talking a lot louder.. and it sounded familiar

"Dammit, Barry. people will be better then you in other ways, but you will always be the fastest man alive, now RUN BARRY RUN!"

"Is someone there?" I ask, a lot more audible then last time i was awake.

"Kyle?" I hear someone ask as I respond a face that's was warm, and definitely someone I've seen before.

"Barry?"I ask with hoarse voice

"Hey, bro." He says with a grin plastered all over his face. "Jesus, you smell like shit."

"I ... er.. I can't answer that... later. How long have I been out."

"Wait, how did you know you were unconscious?"

"Well, I had a weird dream, I woke up a while ago then it all went to black."

"That's a fair way to think about it, Hold it." He says putting his hand up like it was a stop sign.   "what 'weird dream'?"

"I was in the perspective of my mom, and I --"

"And... Hold it again." Barry grabs a leather journal from his pocket. "I got your journal, and I'm just gonna wright it all down, this is probably important. Carry on."

"Thanks. Anyway, I was in the prescriptive of my mom, when my dad left us. I know my dads name Barry."

"Wow, this is like some Harry Potter level of crazy. Anyway, I'll tell the nurses that you're awake, and see if I can get a shower ready."

"Thanks, and was that 'The Flash' you were watching?"

"Yup." And he leaves the room with a smile, only after he puts my journal on my lap.

After my shower, I saw my mom, waiting for me in my room. She had embraced me in the biggest hug, anyone could have gotten. She told me what had happened, with my step-dad. I was also told some shocking news from her:

"The first time you woke up was three months after the crash, it's been another seven months.  The reason you went unconscious again is because you had a major concussion. Now Kyle, I was talking to the nurse and she said you healed from you concussion, but got another one. Apparently, you had a crazy dream that caused it to happen again, I was also instructed to tell you that we need to visit a special doctor to talk to you about this. On the brighter side, both you and Juliana have passed grade nine and ten. I was talking to your teachers and principal about the fact that you have aced almost everything, so they passed. I told this to Juliana's parents and they did the same."

"I, I don't know what to say mom. Thank you." I said so happy, I never thought I'd be able to skip a grade. That's Just awesome.

"I also have a few surprises for you, so close your eyes and hold out your hands."

I did what was instructed.

"Okay, open."

In my hands was a copy of the game I've been wanting ever since it came out. Uncharted 4. And my phone.

After a while my mom left and I caught up on shows I missed, and the tweets i couldn't read, or the photos  I couldn't see or like. I had gotten a message from Barry saying that 'The Flash'  Season three had been on Netflix. I caught up with all that I missed of 'The Flash' and fell asleep on my bed. I had that going on for a few days, with a different show each time. One day within the week, Juli had woken up while I went to the bathroom. When I came back I embraced her in a hug and apologized. Nothing really important happened for a while except that day just before we were going to head to sleep, she asked me 'Why can't I feel my legs?' so I explained to her that she was temperately paralyzed.  I think I was guilt-ed int waiting for her legs to heal. I'm sure It'll be okay. I've looking at her threw a new light somehow.

I did tell Juli about my dream I had a few days back. Her response was incredible, and she wanted to help as soon as her legs healed.

"Mr. Oak?" I hear from in front of me, even though my head is stuffed into my phone.

"Mm Hm?"

"You're free to go."

And with that I lift my head and ask:

"Seriously?"

"Of course."

"Thank you so much. You and all the nurses have been amazing. Thank you."

"Yes, Mr. Oak, just stay out of trouble"

"Yes, sir."

I walk out of the room, and I fall, and come crashing down to the hard marble floors. And it all fades to darkness.... Again.
