The one where Caitlin goes soft

Barry watched Caitlin until she was out of his sights he didn't no what to do she just told him that Dr.wells the man he thought he could trust had threatened his daughters life and Barry knew Caitlin wasn't lying not this time not about this.

Jane was still crying so Barry walked up the stairs to her room It looked like Caitlin was trying to sooth her but she was still crying Barry walked in the room and saw Caitlin struggling Caitlin saw him and felt a bit uncomfortable him being there. Why was that she thought

"Barry can you do me a favour and go get me janes milk its in the fridge bottom shelf" Barry nodded and went to get the bottle he returned a few seconds later due to his super speed that Caitlin rolled her eyes at he handed her the bottle and Caitlin fed Jane then sung a lullaby not caring what Barry thought

"the moon has chased away the sun the tides out in the bay

Barry smiled at Caitlin's lullaby he thought she had a very motherly voice Jane had settled down a bit now but then she rejected the bottle and started crying loudly again Barry watched Caitlin trying to sooth her but I wasn't working.

"can I try?" Barry asked softly

Caitlin looked at him for a moment and thought about it then looked at Jane he was her father after all.

"I won't hurt her cait I promise"

Catlin was hesitant but she slowly gave Jane to Barry and made sure he was careful with her Caitlin was very protective over Jane especially when Barry was involved.

Barry slowly rocked Jane back and forth and managed to get her to take her bottle Caitlin did not take her eyes of them Caitlin could see tears rolling down Barry's face which made her cry a little to.

She wasn't sure if Barry was crying because he was happy or if he was sad Caitlin smiled when Barry looked up at her Jane was a sleep maybe that's what Jane needed this hole time Barry.

He laid Jane Down and watched her sleep for a moment then he looked at Caitlin who had tears in her eyes and hugged her tight Barry felt like it was all his fault.

"I am so sorry Barry" Caitlin whispers Barry hugged her tighter and they both looked down at Jane who was sleeping soundly they left the room and Caitlin got changed into her pajamas and Barry waited down stairs for her.

Catlin walked in silently and watched Barry starting at the picture of Jane and her in his hands.

Catlin walked up behind him and placed her hand on his shoulder Barry turned to look at Caitlin he hadn't realised how much he had missed her touch.

"I had just gotten home from the hospital when I took that she wasn't even a day old" Caitlin smiled Barry held her hand and they studied each other for a while. Before Caitlin said

"wanna go watch Netflix" Barry smiled and followed her in to the kitchen "ok for movie snacks I have popcorn, jelly babies and marshmallows and for drinks I have coke a cola, elderflower and strawberry juice."

"jelly babies and elderflower" Barry suggested

"good choice Mr.allen" Caitlin said grabbing the bag of jelly babies and bottle of elderflower and then headed up stairs with Barry.

They laid on the bed together and watched book thief Caitlin rested her head on Barry he didn't resit he just put his arm around her.

"so your the flash" whispered Caitlin

"yep...so we have a baby" Barry said

"yep" Caitlin said copying his answer Barry smiled

"I missed you so much" Barry said almost in tears thinking about the time they spent apart.

"I missed you too" Caitlin whispered

Barry and Caitlin started in to each others eyes for ages and there faces got closer and closer until there lips met Barry had missed Caitlin's soft lips and her touch as she moved her hands to his face.

When the kiss broke apart Caitlin and Barry rested there fore heads against each other.

"I love you more then anything" Barry whispered Caitlin smiled and a tear rolled down her cheek

"I love you too" Caitlin cried

Barry smiled he had missed Caitlin so much she rested her head on Barry chest and singed

"I don't want to ruin the moment but we are gonna have to talk about this Dr.wells thing" Barry said

"I know we will talk about it tomorrow" Caitlin said resting her head on Barry cheat and falling to sleep
