Before anything else made sense, I quickly got up ready to run after them.

Sophia reaches out and grabs my arm. "Wait, where are you going?"

I stare at her before yanking my arm out of her grip making her pull her hand away as if it burned. "I'm going out with my friends like I was originally supposed to be doing tonight."

She doesnt say anything back but I know I hurt her somehow. I dont know if I wanted that or not but I turn on my heels, leaving the bar and Sophia.

---

"That was pretty bad ass of you little lady."

I look over at Greg and smile slightly shrugging my shoulders. That was me being me.

"If you think that was bad ass baby, just stick around it gets better."

Oddly he doesn't question that and just nods instead.

Lila walks up to me and hugs me, I cant help but stiffen and before I can act she pulls back and smiles at me. A genuine smile and I cant help but slightly smile back.

I think I like these people. Thats not going to be good for anybody.

"Enjoying yourself Lila?"

She nods quickly and looks around with big eyes.

"This place is amazing! Ive been here a couple times but I had no idea who owned it! I love it and its super cool that I know the owner nowwww." She winks and shimmies her shoulders.

I nod and then look behind me, feeling eyes on me, just as Carlos comes into view. I shake my head and he stops walking giving me a uncertain look.

"Is everything alright?" Greg rests his hand on my shoulder and follows my look to Carlos.

I look at him and then back at Carlos who looks ready to attack but taken back at the same time.

"Yeah, i'm fine."

Greg looks harder at Carlos as if his eyes could kill him and I giggle.

"Easy there Mr.Greggy, he may actually kill you if you keep that up."

Greg turns to me and shakes his head, I think in disbelief.

"Im sure, but you wouldn't let him."

I just look at him as he sips his beer. He then meets my eyes and just smiles.

This fuckers growing on me and its only been a couple hours.

"I hope I wouldnt."

---

"I say this again for the second time this night...look who decided to show up!"

Finn holds up his drink to me.

"I thought you went home pussy whipped. Which if I ever saw you again, Id give you hell for it."

He laughs and drinks his beer wrapping an arm around a red head.

"Where is everybody?" I ask looking around not finding the goddess in the midst of the bodies.

He shrugs his shoulders and the red head leans into him whispering something in his ear. He nods his head and they begin to get up.

"Wait, Finn, where you going?"

I needed to find her.

"Bro, dont cock block. I didnt for you even if I should have but shit, I had no idea. Sophia? Really?" He shakes his head and kind of makes a grunt. "Anyways," he pauses again and his eyes go past me. "Lila and Kalia are on the dance floor somewhere and Greg is over there." He points his finger to my best friend whose makin' on a girl against a wall.

I move my eyes from Greg and onto the girls that seem to not be caring about the attention theyre getting. They seem too lost in the music to care. They're matching each other's moves perfectly and God, it's hard not to look away. Guys go to reach for the girls but they flip them off and continue to dance with each other. I can't help but laugh. They'll get along too well. I take a seat at one of the table chairs and watch Kalia move.

Kalia. What a great name for a goddess. Kill me.

She's moving similar to the way she moved with me but a little more reserved by the way she still looks around her, looking to be always on guard. Interesting.

I wanted to go to her. I wanted to touch her, to talk to her, to apologize to her. This wasn't how I imagined my night to go and she was the last person I wanted to hurt or offend or anger in anyway. Fuck, I barely got her and I'm pretty sure I lost her already.

"What are you thinking about?"

I pop my head up to see the Devil in my face taunting me. She's too beautiful, I wanted to cry. Why oh why. I stand up quickly and look slightly down at her.

"I didn't hear or see you come up. I'm sorry."

She licks her lips slowly and nods before moving around me and sitting down at the table. She looks around her before lifting her hand up and snapping her fingers. A guy instantly is at her side, wearing all black and a serious face. She whispers in his ear and he leaves again.

"Who was that?"

"My boyfriend."

My jaw tenses before I see the playful gleam in her eyes and I relax again shaking my head.

"You're not funny."

"Oh but I am. I don't have to explain anything to you."

She's right she doesn't, so I stay quiet. The guy returns with keys and cup of what looks like water. She downs it down before setting it down and making an 'Ah' sound of satisfaction.

"That was water?"

"No, straight vodka." She looks at me and smirks before getting up and looking at me. "I hate to leave but then again I actually don't." She begins to back away from me and I get up quickly.

"No no, no you don't. I just got here. I need to talk to you."

She's still moving but this time her backs facing me and she's running out the door.

"Kalia!" I shout as I'm running after her moving people out of my way. Not this time goddess, no way.

She turns her head around and gives me a million dollar smile before moving faster.
