"I give up!" I yell, kneeling over to catch my breath.

There wasnt a reply and truthfully it wouldnt suprise me if she's gone.

"You're not a very good runner."

I let out a slight huff. Did this women know how fast she ran or how far we went? I mean, I run every morning but never that much and never at such a fast pace. God, I sound like a wimp.

I look up as shes putting her hair into what looks to be her signature pony tail.

"What are you looking at?" She says with too much attitude.

I scrunch my eyebrows together and stand straighter. "Whats with the attitude? In two seconds its going to begin to irritate me."

She snickers and rolls her eyes as she turn on her heals and begins to walk away from me.

Again? Whats with this girl. Im gunna show her that she cant just walk away from me.

"Hey! Why do you keep turning away? Am I not good enough for you? You cant spare me one minute of your precious life?!"

That got her to stop.

"Yeah, you heard me. What are you gunna do now? Keep running away from me, from this fucking connection that I know you feel too? Or how about have your jackass of a bodyguard come shoot me?"

"Shut.up."

Ah, now bring her back D. "Make.me."

She turns her head and looks at me from the side of her eyes. She seems conflicted on what to do next. I take her quietness into count as I begin to move towards her and she stands in place. I touch her arm slightly and then reach for her shoulder to turn her to face me, she does slowly. She doesn't meet my eyes.

"You should just let me run. Things would be a hell of alot easier that way."

That got me to snort. "Easier for who? You? You seem to like to run away from your problems alot."

She looks up at me while pushing me away hard. Anger in her eyes.

"What do you know? Hmm? Nothing. You know fucking nothing and for you to come to me thinking you do after having literal accidental run ins with me shows me how unworthy you actually are of my time."

I stare at her and her beautiful angry body as it seems to rise with each intake of breath trying to contain the firecracker I know wants to come out.

"Why cant you let me know more then?"

"There's no need to. You wont like it and I don't want you."

Well then.

Im about to call her bluff when her phone blares in her pocket.

She grabs it and looks at me before answering still staring at me. "Yes?"

I begin to walk towards her again but she holds her hand out and gives me a glare.

"What do you mean? How did that happen?" She looks away from me and focuses on the call. I go in for the kill and close the space between us, letting my hands slide across her skin and to the other side of her hip as I pull her closer to me. She tenses but doesn't say anything.
