Vacation plans

*A week before mid year finals, Mia's prov*
I haven't heard from Jackson since he left, Which is suspicious. I asked Amanda about Jackson but she said they were only friends, but if that's true then why was Jackson so nervous when he saw her? I still have no answers for these questions. However, me and Marcus became really close friends. We never talked about the 'kiss' of my birthday night. We remained friends, maybe that's better. But my feelings for him didn't change. And never will. Lucas and Hailey are still dating and we all made our 'Squad'. Ofc, I forgave my mom about not attending my birthday and we are good now. We are one week away from mid year finals and Marcus is helping me with the Maths. I hate maths. I am on my way to his house.
*Marcus's prov*
I have been best friend with Mia for about four months, and I can tell she's the one for me! We are so much alike and so understanding. I wanted us to be only friends after the awkward moment on her birthday. She didn't talk about it either, so it's better for both of us being friends. For now. I still love her and won't love any other girl. I am making sure she likes me back and I will confess to her about my love at the right time. She's coming over now so we can study together for the first term finals. I am so excited for the vacation! We still don't have plans for it, but anything with her will be awesome!
*Mia's prov*
"Hey." I said when Marcus opened the door." Hi, ready for Maths?" He asked pulling me to a hug. "Never was, never will. I hate Maths." I said. "If you keep hating it, you will never succeed in it. However, how will you calculate the tip in restaurants if you hate maths?" He said. "I don't tip." I said smirking. "Ughh, let's just go upstairs." He said. We studied for couple of hours and Marcus explained a lot to me. As soon as I finish the maths exam, everything will be fine. "Don't feel asleep now. We aren't done yet." Marcus said as I was yawning. "I can't help it, this subject always makes me wanna sleep." I said laughing. "Let's go make something to drink." He said. "Good idea!" I said and we went downstairs. "I want hot chocolate." I said. "5 dollars." He said. "Shut up. Just make me one and don't ruin it." I said rolling my eyes. "What makes you think I will?" He asked. "Last time you put salt instead of sugar." I said. "That was a mistake,okay!" He said laughing. "I want to be done with exams now, I am so tired already!" I said. "Yeah, me too!"
*Last exam day*
"Can't believe we are finally done!" Lucas shouted. "Chill, we still have a second term." Hailey said. "Stop ruining the moment." Lucas said and we laughed. "So what are we doing today?" I asked. "Netflix and sleeping!" Marcus said in excitement. "Stop being lazy for once!" I said and he rolled his eyes. "I wanna pass by the park and get some ice cream first!" Lucas said. "Me too!" I said. We went into Lucas's car and he drove us to the park. "Marcus! Come here and give me a push!" I shouted while I was on the swing. "Mia, this is for children." Marcus said. "I don't care. Give me a push." I said making a baby face. "Fine." He said. "Yaaay!" I said as he pushed me. "This is so good! You should try this!" I said. "No thanks. Children are already looking weirdly at you, I don't wanna be at your place." He said. "Get over your pride and try this." I said. "No." He said. "Is that so?" I said raising an eyebrow. I jumped off the swing and grabbed his arms and walked toward the swing. "You're hurting me!" He said. "I want to make sure you won't run!" I said smirking. "Okay okay. I will sit on the swing." He said. "Good boy. Let me give you a push." I said. I started pushing him and he started swinging. He was so happy and childish! "Look who didn't want to swing and now the happiest person on Earth!" I said smiling. "It's so good tbh!" He said. "Guys, let's go!" Lucas shouted. "Fun spoiler. We're coming!" Marcus shouted back. I laughed and we left for Hailey's place. "I already ordered some pizza. So, we will eat and watch Netflix!" Hailey said. "Okay lazy people." I said. "It will be fun." She said. We watched couple of movies then Lucas and Hailey went upstairs. "Always left behind." I said. "You are saying this cause you don't have a bf." Marcus said smirking. "So I should search for a bf? But you will get left behind. Alone." I said raising my eyebrows. "Maybe I will search for a gf." He said in pride. "Believe me, no girl will bear your personality like I do! I have been bearing you for four months and I am tired already." I said. "So, you are saying you fit to be my girlfriend?" He said raising an eyebrow. "w..what? Noo that's not what I meant I wa.." I nervously said. "Relax. I was just kidding, I am not even serious about this gf thing." He said. "I am. So search for a bf for me." I said smirking. "No, I won't be left alone behind." He said. "Okay okay." I said laughing. "What are your plans for the vacation?" He asked. "I want to go to LA to see my father, spend sometime there. Why don't you come too?" I said. "I don't know, I will see about this." He said.
*Back Home*
"Mum?" I said entering her room. "Hey." She said. "I want to ask you something, can I go to LA for the vacation? I wanna see dad." I said. "Mmm.. Yeah sure. I will settle this with your dad." She said smiling. "Okay thank you so much." I said and kissed her on the cheek. I went to my room and texted Tara, my older sister.
-Me: guess who's coming to LA?
-Tara: REALLY? I am so happy! When are you coming so I can come pick you up?
-Me: Don't know yet. I will tell you as soon as I know.
-Tara: Are you coming alone? Or bringing some friends over? ;)
-Me: what's the deal with the wink? 😒
-Tara: You know, one of the twins maybe?
-Me: Stop it.
-Tara: Fine. Will talk about it when you come. So excited!
*Next day"
I woke up and put a black hoodie that says, 'But first, coffee' and jeans and went downstairs. My mum was awake. "Good Morning." I said. "Good Morning, so about your flight, I am reserving a flight the day after tomorrow, is that okay?" She said. "Perfect!" I said. "I would love to go with you, but you need to spend sometime alone with your dad and I have some stuff to do here anyway." She said. "It's okay. I am going to Hailey's house and maybe go to the mall after that." I said taking the keys. "Don't be late." She said and I left. "Hey, good morning." I said as I met Hailey on her door. "Hey." She said yawning. "Looks like somebody  slept late." I said. "Yeah, didn't get much sleep. So what are we doing today?" She asked. "I wanna hit the mall for shopping." I said. "Sure, what for?" She asked. "Well, remember when I told you I wanna go to LA? I am leaving the day after tomorrow." I said. "This fast!" She said in surprise. "Yeah. I told you come with me we will have much fun! And don't worry I won't stay for long time." I said. "I can't leave Lucas you know." She said. "Fine, get dressed so we won't be late." I said.
*At the mall*
We shopped for a while and Went to Starbucks, the twins were there, Hailey told them to come over. "Hey." Lucas said. "Hi." Me and Hailey said in sync. "What made you girls hit the mall this early?" Marcus asked. "I am shopping. I am leaving for LA. I told you." I said. "Really?" Lucas said. "Yeah, I told my mom and I am leaving after tomorrow." I said. "So fast?" Marcus said in surprise. "Yes. No time to waste. None of you guys wanna come with me?" I said making a sad face. "We don't know yet." Marcus said.
*At the airport *
Marcus, Lucas and Hailey drove me to the airport. "Thank you for the ride guys! I am gonna miss you so much." I said and was about to cry. "I am gonna miss you too, best friend!" Hailey said hugging me. "Gonna miss you so much. Safe flight." Marcus said and gave me a hug." Thank you so much guys. Bye." I said and left we were all kinda crying. I went on the plane and texted Marcus. The plane is taking off in 10.
-Me: Hey, don't have fun without me.
-Marcus: I won't. That's why I made sure you won't have fun in LA without me either.
-Me: What do you mean?
-Marcus: I mean take your backpack off my chair.
And Marcus was just standing there next to my chair and was smiling at me.
