AU: Where you can only see shades of a certain colour until you meet your soulmate, keep in mind you can find the one many times but you will only know it's THE TRUE ONE if you see normal colours.

Everything is Blue
His pills, his hands, his jeans.

Mark Fischbach never thought he would fall in love again. He had always seen in hues of blue, but never anything else, except once. He found someone and bumped into them. He saw a flash of a new colour and called after the boy.

You were red and you liked me 'cause I was blue

The boy turned around who claimed he saw it too. They touched their hands together and intertwined them. Suddenly they could both see the colour lilac, the boy must have been the colour red.

But you touched me and suddenly I was a lilac sky

The boy frowned and looked to a smiling Mark before he realized why the boy gave him such a look. The boy didn't like the colour.

Purple just wasn't for you...

Jack just didn't believe in love in general, he's never experienced the whole soulmates deal.

Everything is grey.
His hair, his smoke, his dreams
And now he's so devoid of colour he don't know what it means

All he could see was grey which seemed pretty depressing. During his teen years, read in books that grey was one of the saddest looking colours out there, he was always curious to see what other colours would await him until he finally just gave up. One day Jack rushed out of the library, pissed as he bumped into one of his closet friends who had been ignoring his texts because they found their soulmate. Jack sat on a bench near by and pulled out a cigarette, he didn't smoke them daily he just saved them for an angry, rough day, which happened to be once a week. He knew it was bad but it was a sensation. He lit it with his lighter before inhaling half and releasing the rest of the smoke, which was probably his favorite shade in this world. It was a light light grey that some people would call white, it was blank but elegant, slow but soothing. He got lost in thought until he finisher the cigarette and put the rest on the ashtray above the trashcans. Jack had moved to America in one last hope of finding the one. It's been 2 years. Jack shoved his hands in his pockets and sighed, walking back to his apartment. Before he could turn to open the front door he bumped into a guy. He turned around to yell at the guy to watch it, but he saw something, something he never saw before. A flash of light but..different? Jack turned to face the man who had wide eyes. "D-Did you see that too?" Mark asked in surprise. Jack nodded. "W-What was that? Did I just die?" Jack asked sadly. Mark figured he's never experienced it before so he approached him. "No it's ok...give me your hand." Mark said holding his hand up like a high five. Jack raised an eyebrow is suspicion. "It's fine, take a chance for once." Mark said with a grin making Jack grin. He reached up slowly and intertwined their hands, suddenly their fingers turned into a weird colour. Flesh. The two have heard of it before, but they thought it was just a myth. The colour moved on up their arm until their clothes began bursting with colour. Both of their breaths were taken away as the scenery  brightened around them. They let
go of their hands the the colour stayed. "Does that mean..." Jack began and Mark smiled at him. "Nice to meet you, Soulmate, my name's Mark." Mark said with a grin. "The name's Sean, but you can call me Jack." Jack said messing with his hair infront of his eyes. "Well Jack, should we get to know each other first?" Mark said, tilting his head slightly. "Sure thing." Jack said with a smile and reached for Mark's hand. The two walked off as Jack now realized, he found a new sensation.
