AU: (picture above) When you write something on your skin, it'll show up on your soulmate's skin too in the same spot.

Dan Howell and Phil Lester had been receiving small marks on their skin since they were young. There would be drawings here and there and a few notes or cheesy words. The two were always afraid of writing back until they were in their twenties. They've grown to become friends, afraid of what'll happen if the other were to ask for contact information. One day, Phil finally decided to make the move.

Dan had just woke up and was waiting at this coffee maker when he saw black marker text appear on his wrist. He pulled his jumper's sleeve up more to reveal the words: Eggs, Bacon, Bread, Tissues, Coffee-

Dan laughed as he stopped reading and grabbing a near by pen and wrote down some words.
"Are you seriously writing your grocery list on your wrist?"

He waited before a response came quickly.
"Well yeah, you would have seen the words 'Note pads' if you didn't write where I needed to!"
Dan rolled his eyes and couldn't help but grin.
"So what are you up to today?"

"Nothing really, just chilling around the house once again"

"How would you feel if we..I dunno...met for once?"

Dan froze. He really wanted to meet this ball of sunshine, he was just nervous... Dan took a deep breath before writing back with a smile.

"Hell yeah! You said you live in Manchester right?"

"Yeah! So I guess we both do, want to meet at a nearby park around 1?"

"Sure, what's the address?"

Phil wrote down the address to see it actually wasn't that far. Dan couldn't stop grinning from ear to ear, but he shook in worry, what if Phil doesn't like Dan? What if this whole soulmates thing is a bunch of bull shit and humans were just born that way? Should Dan bring flowers? Is bringing flowers too much? The questions rolled around in Dan's mind before he shook it off and got ready for the day.

Dan nervously sat on the bench in the middle of the park up against a fountain. He looked around to see someone possibly looking around or looking like the man Dan had imagined. He couldn't believe someone he had never met before, gave him so many butterflies. Of course he thought Phil sounded amazing, caring, cheery, and a little bit of a dork. He chuckled to himself then looked down to his arm, words were forming.

"Just arrived! So sorry to keep you waiting!"

Dan couldn't help but smile then pulled out the pen he had in his jacket pocket.

"Take your time Phil :)"

Usually Phil was the one to write smiley faces after his words, but Dan really couldn't stop smiling, he was so excited. He put away his pen then turned to look around. He saw two guys walking in this direction and they didn't seem to be the guys he expected. He turned and saw another totally ripped man walking over. Dan's eyes widened, was that Phil? False alarm, the guy is straight and just kissed his girlfriend. Dan sighed and crossed his arms before he saw a boy looking at his arm and writing something, Dan looked down to hid arm.

"Are you the cutie on the bench against the fountain :)?"

"Sure am."

Dan looked up to see a very cute, tallish boy with jet black hair and a Gengar Pokemon shirt. Dan's heartbeat started to pick up as the boy came closer with a cheerful smile. "Daniel?" he asked with a smile, his voice making Dan's heart melt. "That's me." He responded with a grin, his face slowly turning red. "You're even more attractive then I expected," The two said at the same time, going wide eyed before laughing and blushing. "Thank you," they both said again. "Oh my god stop," Dan said breaking into fits of laughter making Phil laugh himself. "So...want to go grab some lunch and catch up?" Dan asked bravely. "Sure, I'd love that!" Phil said with a huge grin before grabbing Dan's hand, intertwining their fingers and dragging him along towards the nearest café, making both of their hearts rushing quickly, the butterflies flying everywhere, They were in love.
