While walking in the hallway, I was kinda excited to put something in my locker. Kinda weird though. I'm erasing the fact that maybe I was excited to see Ana. Because there is no way I’m having a crush on an awkward girl. Johnny Smith is a player. Yes that's right, I’m a player. I don't have crushes; girls are the one who are crushing on me. Why not? I’m tall, I’m the captain of the football team, and I’m hot. Plus Cathlin is hot, my cheerleader girl friend. I can't possibly ask for more.
When I reached my locker, Ana was there, fixing something on her locker. Probably decorating it. I just noticed her hair was really blonde and really long. Not like other girls who dye their hair blonde to look hot. Ana’s different. Wait? What the hell I’m talking about? Anyway
I open my locker, but I can't stop myself for ignoring Ana. I just can't ignore her.
“Hey sup?" I said, very awkwardly, I guess.
“Oh hey Johnny. I didn't notice you there"
She didn't notice me? This is so wrong. I should probably just start a conversation with her.
“Ah you know Ana. . . uhmm my parents are divorce too"
“What? Well why are telling that to me? Do you feel sorry for me?!"
“Nooooo! Hell no! I don't know I told you that. Ugh never mind, Just forgot I talk to you"
Wait! I don’t know what happen there. Just forget I talk to you? Then I left. Just like that. God Johnny what is wrong with you? Ana will think I’m such a jerk.
On football practice, I was kinda worried on what happen on the locker. I really shouldn’t shout at Ana. Or did I shout? or maybe I just feel guilty. What's wrong with me?
“What is wrong with you?" Cathlin asked and broke me in my trance.
Well she’s Cathlin Andersen. A cheerleader. We’ve been together for like a year now. And everyone says we look good together, I really don’t know. All I know is all my bro’s has girls, so a football player like me, not to mention CAPTAIN of the football team, should have the hottest girl in school too. Well I guess? I think that’s how high school works. Plus Cathlin’s hot. I can kiss her whenever, whatever I want. That’s all it matters, right?
Johnny:" Wai. . What?"
“You obviously got your mind somewhere else, what's wrong?"
"Nothing I just wanna go home after practice, I’m just tired"
“You can't do that?! We're going at Pete's right? Did you forget again Johnny?"
“I didn't Cathlin , ok? Just not now. I’m going home"
I really don’t like when Cathlin calls me in my name JOHNNY with her annoying tone. It’s like mom’s annoying tone when she’s mad at me for something. Well I don’t know what’s wrong with me that day. Normally I’ll drive Cathlin home. But that day, for some reason, something's different. Something’s new. And I just left.
"Your man is definitely weird these days huh"
“I’ll figure out what's going on Jenn, Johnny is mine. We're the cutest couple in this school, and everybody knows that. I’m sure he's just tired. It’s not another girl. No one would dare."
