Jeff's lips twitched, he was obliviously trying to hide a smirk. You walked up to him and grabbed his chin, you turned his face from side to side. Jeff froze out of shock and his eyes shot to Ben.
"So, who covered your scars in makeup Jeffy?" You hissed mockingly. Jeff frowned and pushed you away. That's when you heard a ticking noise from behind you, you cringed and turned back to face the teacher, you knew it was him.
"(Y/N), please take a seat and start the assignment." You nodded and took a seat in the back of the room. You felt a presence next to you and looked up. Ben was staring at the front of the class, his head tilted in curiosity at something. You followed his gaze to a drawing you had did, the teacher had asked if he could use it as an example for the other classes. Ben's eyes narrowed trying to understand it.
"You okay?" You asked poking him with the eraser end of your pencil. Ben looked at you with shock and nodded.
"I just don't understand it very well," he said pointing at the drawing. You looked down and sighed.
"The boy is drowning..." You mumbled. Ben stiffened and looked at you.
"But that's not water," he inquired, slowly relaxing as the conversation continued.
"No, he's drowning in stress and anxiety." You explained pointing at the white words that covered the black background. "Those words are the things he's told, that he not good enough or needs to change."
"So as he gets more stressed he begins to get lost in his mind." Ben breathed out.
"Good observations Mr. Down." You're teacher said from behind you. You looked back and saw a proud smile spread across the mans face. "Good to have another thinker in this class." And with that the teacher moved back to the front of the class.
Great, I'm being stalked by murders. Ben better keep his promise, although I'm more worried about Jeff, you thought as you scribbled in your sketchpad.
When the bell rang you jumped up from your seat and bolted to your next class. As you ran you heard your name being called but you ignored it until you got to English. You slid into the back of the room and took a seat in the far corner. Slightly panting you pulled your book from your bag and hid behind its pages.

Lucky the rest of the day you didn't see Jeff and Ben. That is till you were walking home.
"Hey (Y/N)!" William called, his blue hair sticking in multiple directions. You frowned and waved, to be honest you didn't want to see him at the moment. Something had changed about Charlie and you knew the boys were never far apart.
"Hey Will." You said pulling an earbud out. He smiled and caught up to you.
"Where's Charlie?" You asked more negatively then you meant to.
"Prick had to go and get himself detention on the first day." Charlie rolled his eyes and frowned. You let out a small chuckle and shook your head.
"What'd he do?" You asked.
"Went full on psycho and attacked this guy named Jeff." You stopped walking and tried to breath. But air wouldn't enter your body. You felt your body start to shake and quiver. If he attacked Jeff, he should be dead, he will be dead. You gasped for air but it felt wrong. Arms wrapped around you and you finally could let air into your lungs.
"Chill (Y/N)." Someone said from their place behind you. Their arms slipped off of their place around you and you turned around. You were met by the most stunning blue eyes you'd ever seen.
"B-Ben." You stuttered. His worried expression made you uncomfortable, at the time you didn't know why.
"Who's this?" Will asked. You forgot he was there, taken aback you sucked in a quick breath.
"Ben, Will. Will, Ben." You did the introductions quickly and said, "look guys I gotta get home fast, I promised Damian I'd help him with some chores." You ran off towards you house and burst through the door panting.
