My eyes shoot open.
I am awoken by a weird feeling in my chest.
Determination.
Confusion overwhelmed me.
Our plan had failed, hadn't it?
Why am I brought back to life?
Why isn't Asriel brought back to life?
Laying on the bed of golden flowers, I look at my hand.
It is pale.
Transparent.
I'm a ghost now.
I stand up.
I can't feel the ground under my feet.
I am floating.
Still confused, I look around.
All I see is darkness, except for a patch of light coming from the surface.
I look below me.
There are two children, laying motionless.
Above my grave.
Both their chests have a faint glowing red heart.
It is them.
They are the ones who woke me up.
With their power of DETERMINATION.

The girl is the first to open her eyes.
I watch silently as she looks around.
The confusion in her eyes.
She's not the only one.
The boy opens his eyes next.
Instead of confusion, I see fear in his eyes.
He is afraid.
Same as the girl, he looks around.
Seems like they can't see me.
