Chapter 5

Alex and I were officially unofficially a couple. We entered the school and immediately o felt stares all over me. Girls were glaring at me and gawking at Alex, I mean I can't blame them. While the guys were doing the same to Alex, I don't know why. Alex being the gentlemen he was walked me to my locker and walked with me to my first period, Chemistry. I went and sat down in my usual seat and Alex sitting on my left. I forgot about Lucas being in my class, I quickly glanced around the room to see if I could see him but I didn't. I don't think I was disappointed I mean I have Alex. I look at him and smile, he smiles back and grabs my hands. We stare at each other for what seems like forever. Right before class starts Ashley walks in hair a mess and everything. I look at her in disgust "What happened to you, did you run into a tornado?" I ask sarcastically. "No I was just cheering someone up." She said with a smirk on her face. She obviously meant Lucas. I look away towards the window. I guess I'm just disappointed that he didn't change after all. After that Mrs. Cranmer comes in and gives us our first official lesson on Chemistry. 45 minutes later the bell rings, everyone reaches for their stuff. But of course you always just have to have those teachers who say 'the bell doesn't dismiss you, I do'. I mean you wouldn't have the full high school experience without them. We all groan and wait 5 minutes until she finishes explaining homework and finally sends us off. I get up and walk out the door hearing a frantic voice behind me. "Hey Elena wait up! I mean we're dating now. You've got to let your lovely boyfriend walk with you." "Ahh my lovely boyfriend seems to have quite the ego does he now" I said raising an eyebrow. "Well yeah, and now with you it only grew." We walked quietly to history. Just enjoying each other's presence. We went along like this til we had to go apart. "Farewell my prince in shining armor." I waved gracefully. Unfortunately he was all into football, and I was the basketball chick. Tryouts for all those fun stuff were today. I went towards the locker rooms and chose the far corner hoping to avoid people, yeah I know I'm a super social butterfly. While I'm taking off my shirt I look in front of me. "Ahhh, hey you can't sneak up on people like that." In front of me there is a girl very pretty. She has a flawless complexion. First thing in my mind is damn what acne medicine did she use. "Hi I'm Jenna, sorry for scaring you." She looked at me apologetically. "It's really ok, I'm Elena..." I was about to continue until she interrupted me. "Oh I know,your all the talk. Alex Fraziers girl." Really it's only be a couple hours. Note to self things spread like a wild fire here. "Oh yeah I guess. Anyways are you a freshman?" "Yeah, love this sport how about you? Never mind you wouldn't be here if you didn't like the sport hahah sorry stupid question happens a lot." She's nervous, I wonder why. "Well let's hurry and change we wanna look good for the coach." I say, I always like to be punctual for basketball. We head to the court, oh crap crap crap. Why are boys here. I do absolutely crappy when guys come to my practices or games. I think about them to much. Like the first time I realized I liked Bennett was when our aau teams were in the same tournament. And his game had ended and he was waiting with a friend but saw me warming up and decided to stay. I absolutely sucked I mean lost the ball, fouled, missed wide open layups. At the end of the game he came up and...wait why am I thinking about that douche bag. He doesn't matter I just need to tune these guys out. I didn't see Lucas which is odd because he said he was trying out. Whatever. "Ok girls, we have three teams. Freshman JV and Varsity. Unlikely freshman will make varsity. Most will stay on the freshman team. Sophomores and some lucky freshman will go to JV. And juniors and seniors will mostly make Varsity. We will just do basic drills so I can contemplate your skills. Good luck, may the best be at the best because this ain't a walk in the park." Oh great. After tryouts I'm basically drenched in sweat, God I'm so thankful I chose a white shirt so my out stains aren't noticeable. I walk with Jenna back to change on my way out of the door. I'm met with a big hug. I look up to see Alex's adorable dark brown eyes. "Hey babe, is it ok for me to call you that?" Aww always considerate. "Yeah totally I like the ring to it" I said smiling. "Anyways how was basketball?" I forgot oh no I must of smelled like a thousand dogs that haven't bathed in three months ran around on my body. "They were great, I must look horrible. Ugh I hate having you see me like this. Anyways how was football?" His eyes were sad. "What did I say?" I was confused, I didn't say anything bad did I? "Babe don't ever say that again. You'll always look perfect and smell perfect in my eyes. And practice was grand. I basically sprinted here to get here on time." "Aww thanks you didn't have to. I have oh no I forgot Jenna this is Alex, Alex this is Jenna" I officially introduced them. They exchanged the traditional greeting and everything. "I got to go and change. Jenna and I are eating lunch together, you can go sit with your jock table where all you do is probably play with you food and bicker like three year olds" I said smirking. "Oh you hurt my heart. Babe we don't play with our food, only bicker." He said quickly before pecking my cheek. My cheeks turned a bright red. Whatever it meant nothing. Jenna and I walked to the changing room, me having to listen to her constantly talking about how cute we were and everything. She sighed, "Man it's only been like three days yet you manage to have the worlds perfect boyfriend." "Hey hey it's fine. I mean there are a lot and when I say a lot I mean a lot of suitable guys here. I'll help you find one. But only if he meets my standards." "Thanks mom." She said. Ahh it felt nice to have a girl friend again that I could talk to not through the phone. I grabbed my wallet and walked with her to he cafeteria. I walked in line. I ended up getting a lemon lime smoothie, chicken nuggets, and French fries. No I am not one of those girls who are all like 'oh my gosh I only eat 2 calories a day!' I like to indulge my pleasures. I sat down with her at a random table at the one end of the cafeteria. We were just talking, I would notice me getting stares and hearing whispers behind my back. It started getting to my head. The next girl that whispers I swear. "I heard he's dating her as a rebound for Sara" oh my lord I turn around quickly look the girl in the eye and ask, "oh tell me more, man do I love hearing people talk about me. Please indulge me more, I love it when people get in my business with my boyfriend and I." She looks at me with shock on her face. She wasn't expecting this. I turned away and I heard her scoot away and eventually switch seats with someone. "Hey don't let them get to your head. They're just jealous and I mean who wouldn't be. Alex freaking Frazier. We were all surprised how Sara tied him down, I mean he's got it all. He's athletic, rich, smart, and good mannered." "Wait rich? He never mentioned that" "Oh yeah his parents are loaded, apparently his dad funded the Frazier law business." Oh I heard about that, why didn't I realize earlier. They're like number one best law firm in the country. "He doesn't like to show off his money though, he walks to school and everything. Half the girls were after him for his money." Oh wow I thought. Just as I was about to murder another chicken nugget I hear, 'Hello where is Elena Johnson' on a microphone. I turn around and there's Alex with a stupid grin on his face. I lightly wave, with embarrassment on my face. "Hey babe I just wanted to say that you should come and eat with us. We'll stop bickering just for you. And I love you" oh my lord. I turn back around and try to ignore his pleading. Finally I feel two hands on my arms, I see my lunch disappear and Jenna's gone. Aww that traitor, she's taking her lunch and mine over to the table. This random guy probably on the team. Picks me up and drags me by the arm to the table. Oh my god I couldn't be more embarrassed right now. "Hey babe, I was looking for you. No wonder I couldn't find you. You were hiding at the end of the room. I finally had enough and grabbed the music tables microphone. And now here you are." He had his same stupid grin plastered on his face. "Uhh yeah thanks, but next time just call or text me or something. I don't need so much attention." "Aww babe two things. First your always gonna get attention when your with me. Secondly I tried calling you like 20 times, but you didn't answer. I had to go to extreme measures." I checked my phone he was right he actually called 20 times oh my lord. Just as I was about to dig in my food again, he cleared his throat. "Everyone this is my girlfriend, if you have a problem with her leave or take it up with me. Elena that's Declan, Alec, Jack...." The names go on forever. I didn't realize how many people could fit on a round table. I look across and see Jenna getting comfortable, talking to Alec. Aww that's cute, I'm glad she's getting her dream come true. After lunch finishes I leave with Alex to the rest of my classes. After school I go to the bus station before my hand is grabbed. "Hey babe no need. Come on I'll call a car or something." He said that so casually. "Hey yes Bently I need a car, yes at school, I don't really care something that's comfortable for two people with a driver of course. Yes I have a special guest. No I don't think she would want the fruit basket. It's fine thanks Bently" He finished his conversation, I just gawked at him. "What?" "Oh no it's fine, I'm just totally use to my dates just 'calling up a car' and a driver and a fruit basket, which safe call not getting it I don't like fruit." His face was nervous but relaxed after a while. "I'm so glad your different. Most girls wanted the fruit basket and more. It was as if I was just a bank for their personal needs." I totally understood. I was determined to treat him as normal as possible. His car pulled up of course a nice ass Jeep Wrangler 2016. Black my favorite color. Basically his was my dream car no joke. My mom has a jeep commander, and I'm in love with it. But my dad drives an impala. They're both old, nothing as new as this. I open the door and the driver rushes over to try to take my backpack I nod, I mean it's not that heavy. I sit down in the back and Alex climbs in after me. "I just keep liking you more and more. No girl has denied Dave like that." Dave I gotta remember that name. I tell Dave my address, he drives. I stare out the window, leaving my hand on my thigh. I feel another hand on top of it and look over to see a happy Alex. We arrive at my house and I get out with my backpack, I was about to close the door when it opened again. I look at Alex smiling even more. "I think I should meet your parents. I mean you are my girlfriend after all." Oh my god he's crazy. I look at him in horror, then my expressions changes in awe. "Ok if you say so." I walk up with him trailing behind. My mom opens the door. "Hey honey I need you to...who's your friend?" She said eyeing Alex suspiciously. "Good evening mam, I'm Alex. Elena's boyfriend. I wanted to meet you." "Oh wow another boy Elena?" Alex looks at me with a confused face. I mouth quietly 'Lucas' he understands and looks back at my mom. "Come in both of you I would love to get to know Alex better." We step inside and drop or backpacks off. My mom and Alex walk into the living room where my dad currently is. I give him a thumbs up hoping that he survives the interrogation. I go to the kitchen and get out last nights pizza. Warm it up, I'm pulling out my chemistry book as I hear laughing going on in the other room. Oh that's great my parents most be loving him. After like 30 minutes I hear footsteps approach me. "Guess what babe, your parents agreed for you to come on a date with me." He looked elated. "Do I get a say in this? What if I don't want to?" I said his face looks sad and he pouts his lips. "No fair mean Lucas got to take you out and I'm your boyfriend and won't let me take you out." I laugh and say" I was joking I would love to go on a date with you Alex Frazier." "Great dress nice" "No I will not, I will not allow you to spend tons of money on me. If we eat we must eat at McDonalds and I have to pay for it." I said proudly. "Aww man I love you even more." He left with another peck on my cheek. Now I have to get ready for this date.

Hi hope you enjoyed this chapter. Well at this point it's kinda awkward and useless because no ones reading my stories and I wish some people would so they would give me input on stuff to help me become a better writer and stuff.
