Next morning I wake up with ease. Life's just been better with Alex. I put a little thought into my wardrobe since after school I was going on a 'mystery date' with Alex. I put on my infamous black 'awkward is my speciality' shirt with Jean shorts and my white knock off vans. I put in my ray ban sunglasses in my bag, in case it gets sunny. I skip down stairs and bump into my dad. "Hey dad. I love you so much you know that." I said with a cheery smile. "What do you want Elena?" He replied with a raised eyebrow. "Oh come on can't a daughter tell her dad how much she loves him?" I said sarcastically. "I mean yeah, but with you there's always a but." "Your very smart dad, can I have money for my date?" "Why can't Alex pay for it?" "Because I'm determined to treat him normally. He is part of the Frazier co." My dad looked at me with a ridiculous look on his face. "Wow, Elena first Lucas the gentlemen. Now Alex the billionaire what's next Lebron James son?" "Hardy har har your very funny dad, I just need like $40?" I said with big puppy eyes. "Alright alright here you go." "Yay thanks daddy!" I take a pop tart from the pantry and rush to the bus station. I walk down the aisle and sit down on a seat, realizing it's gonna be like this for the rest of the year since I lost my bus buddy. Damn should of picked someone else. I put my backpack on the ground next to me since no one is gonna be using the seat besides me. I take out my phone and look at all my missed texts.
