Wow // chapter 4

Laura:

Oh my god I can't believe it.

I walk over to the lights to turn them up fully to see James just stood there innocently, looking up at me, watching my every move. "hello you!" He said with a big grin as i turned around. He walked over to me and pulled me into a hug. "hi Jems" I laughed, almost whispering. "Lets go sit down and start on this bottle of drink" he said as he gently put his hand in mine and we walked over to the table. I don't think I could fall for him any more than I already have, but tonight will test that.

"How posh is this eh" I chuckled. "I know! But to be honest" he sighed, what on earth was he going to say?! "I can't think of anyone better to be with at this moment in time" way to get the butterflies going! "and I must say I think you look absolutely beautiful tonight" he continued himself and looked right into my eyes. "You don't look too bad yourself McVey" I smirked back at him. I was determined to get my point across to him tonight.

James:

"So did you know about this?" I said trying not to make it too awkward. "Not until we were in the line at mc donalds earlier!" She laughed. "what about you?" "Not until we drove out of the leisure centre...they took me by surprise!" I laughed and she giggled with me. "What are they like eh?" She smiled, pouring herself out some drink. "I know, but lets hope we're thanking them at the end of this!" I winked and also poured myself something to drink. That's when Brad came in with a white cloth over his arm and two plates. "Here is your main meal" he smiled, placing the plates in front of both of us. "Enjoy!" He said and walked out of the room. I looked down and it turns out they made us pizzas.

15 minutes later we were both finished and Brad came back into the room. "Now that you've finished your main you can follow me for the desert and entertainment" he somehow managed to get out without laughing. Laura was cracking up at his posh voice.

We walked into the cinema room to find a change of clothes for us both and a note next to them. 'Go get changed and comfy, your pudding and entertainment will be here soon' it read. "Right I'll go to the bathroom and you can change in here" I said grabbing the clothes. I walked out of the room to come face to face with Brad, Connor, Charlie and Ellie. "James mate what are you doing?! You're supposed to be in there getting the girl!" Brad nodded towards where I had just came from. "She's getting changed, idiot" I said slightly hitting his arm. "Where are Lucy and Tris?" I said noticing they weren't there. "They're outside, doing god knows what if I'm honest" Charlie rolled her eyes. "Well I'm off to get changed" I said making my way to the bathroom.

I walked back up to the door, made my way past the 4 that were there before and knocked lightly on the door. "come in!" she answered and I walked in to find her by the mirror sorting her hair out. "C'mon this needs attention too" I said, running my hand through my quiff. "Come here I'll sort it for you" she said now facing me and on tip toes. She just squashed it. "That's better!" She winked and grabbed the hairspray can that was on the side. My mouth was just an O. I liked this cheeky side to her. "I'm joking, I'm joking! Come here and I'll sort it back again" she went and sat down on the sofa. "I'm trusting you this time" I said as I sat down only about a foot away from her. "I'll do my best alright" she laughed.

As she concentrated on getting the hair just right all I could focus on is her face. As stupid as it sounds I didn't want to be looking anywhere else.

She had just about finished when Charlie and Brad came running in shouting "SHUT YOUR EYES" we gave each other a confused look but we went with it.

A few bangs and crashes later Lucy shouted "OPEN YOUR EYES" and Tristan started banging on the drums the oh so familiar tune to 'wild heart' our original song.

I started singing along and she pushed me up to sing with them.

Charlie:

Me, Lucy and Ellie were stood in the corner bopping along to them singing, now James was up there too it sounded complete. We'd never heard them sing before now so it was a nice surprise for us as well as Laura. She really looked like she was enjoying herself, hopefully this would end on 'more than friend' terms between them, they really do look good together.

We all applauded the boys and they took a bow. We put Lucy's iPod on shuffle and left the room to leave Laura and James to chat for a bit before we brung them their desert.

Laura:

"Oh my god you were amazing!" I clapped, standing up and walking over to James. "Thank you!" He said opening his arms for a hug. Of course I accepted and after a few seconds of standing there enjoying the moment of the hug and music in the background I felt myself starting to walk backwards and I hit the sofa, falling straight onto my back with James on top of me. Luckily he saved himself by putting his arms either side of my face. I looked up into James' eyes whilst he looked down into mine. My heart was racing for the second time this evening. He slowly leaned down, gently closing the gap that was between us. I couldn't wait any longer so I put my arms round his neck and made that gap close that little bit faster. He planted his lips on mine and my heart was definitely on the verge of exploding this time. We moved our lips in sync and it had become quite a passionate kiss. I heard the door open and all the voices went quiet. We both pulled away, I sat up and James slowly stood up. I could feel my cheeks going redder by the second. "We just er came to bring you your desert.." Connor trailed off. "You guys can come in you know, we won't bite" James chuckled as he sat down next to me. With that all 6 of them came parading in with a carrier bag and spoons. We were hoping you would say that!" Brad said with a cheeky smile "here's your pudding!" Ellie threw the tub of Ben and Jerrys at us along with 2 spoons. "Ah cheers guys!" I said as they all made themselves comfy, preparing for another night in Tristan's movie room.
