Cameron's mouth is practically on the floor as she realizes what she just walked in on "uuuggghhh hi," she says to Rami obviously shocked. We all stay in whatever position we are in looking at each other,her standing behind the couch, I'm under Rami with no top on and Rami on top of me without a top. Nun of us not really sure what to do or say. Rami pushes himself off me and stands up to offer his hand to Cam "Rami Malek, Nice to meet you" he says In his beautifully thick awkward voice of his, Cam shakes his hand "Cameron, you too" she looks down at Rami's Unbuckled belt and unbuttoned pants. He notices and turns around to do them up.
"Cam what are you doing here?" I ask her annoyance clearly in my voice "Well I came to talk to you about my problems but never mind you too are busy." I stand up and fix my skirt and stop my sister from walking out the door. "Ram this is my sister Cam, Cam this is my boyfriend Rami." I introduce them and Cam walks up to rami who is standing in front of one of the book selfs "hi" he says as Cam hugs him "Clair go get dressed and go get us some drinks were going to be a while" Cameron tells me, I look at Rami to see if he's okay with it and when he slowly nods a little confused at the situation but fine with it, I mouth "sorry" and go to my room.
When I come back into the living room I see Cameron talking away and Rami sitting there nodding his head, aww he looks so uncomfortable maybe I should go and save him. Nah I'm good, I slowly turn around and start tiptoeing towards my room but "oh look, Clair" Rami stands up walks towards me and takes my hand dragging me to the couch making me sit on his lap. I cross my arms across my chest and glared at my sister, "Clair I was just telling Rami about our crazy family and how everyone wants to meet him" "Oh really?" I question Cameron "and who is everyone?" "well you know our parents, Michael, Aunty Marie, Aunty Julie, Aunty Christina, Uncle Mark and all their kids. Then Nanna and Pappa, Mommy and Daddy. Then mom's Aunties and Uncles and cousins" Cam names off everyone in our family.
"Cameron, how do all of them know about him?" I fold my hands in front of my face and lean my forehead on my thumbs "weeelllll you know, I was talking to Mom and Dad, then Mom told Nan and Nan told Pappa and Nan and Pappa told everyone on their side. Then I was talking to Mommy and Mommy told all our aunts and uncle and they told their kids. Then Uncle Mark talked To Daddy and he told his family" she says not looking at me because she knows I'm pissed. First of all Rami and I wanted to keep our relationship on the down low, and my big families has big mouths and there going to say something to the wrong person and let it out. Second, of all, I wanted to be the one to tell the family about my relationship and finally third of all if all of them know that means that they are all going to either want to come over or us to come to them. "Cameron do you know what this means!!!!" I yell at my sister and jump out of rami's lap and start to pace, "I know I know Clair I'm sorry I was just complaining to mom that I haven't met him yet and I forgot all about her big mouth".
"Oh my god what am I going to do what am I going to do??" I talk to myself while I pace the room, "Clair I don't understand what's so wrong with your family wanting to meet me?" Rami grabs hold of my arms stopping me from moving, oh Rami I forgot about he was here oh sweet Rami is going to hate me no he's going to hate Cameron. God, she's so stupid "it's a big deal Rami Because you like to keep everything private, and my family doesn't. My family is so big and they live all around the world and they like to talk and they might talk to the wrong person cuz who knows who they know and then we could be out in the open all in the public. I know how much you don't want this" I explain to him as I rest my head on his chest.
"Oh that's not good" Rami whispers and kisses the top of my head "we'll figure this out" "yeah we will Rami. yeah, we will" I look up into his eyes "I have the best Idea Clair why don't we just let them meet him and tell them at the party to not tell them to just not tell anyone because you guys want to go into the public yourself." Cam suggest, okay okay not so bad "umm Ram do you have any dates in Canada, Ontario to be specific?" I ask Rami leaves on the weekend for a press tour for the show, he'll be going around the world. "Yeah I have a week there during the holidays" he tell's me "okay can you take two maybe three days off there?" I ask "I don't know I was going to go see my mom" Rami tell's me "Even better, kill two birds with one stone tell your family to come too, wait how big is your family?" I ask Rami "not as big as yours, it would just be mom, Sami, and maybe my sister but that's it."
"Good then they can all fit into mom's house to there not spread all over Ontario," I say "Yeah mom wouldn't let them get a hotel," Cam tells Rami "Ummm I'll have to check with mom but that sounds good," Rami says "okay well lets deal with all that tomorrow Cameron you have to go, Ram you can stay if you want" I tell the two. "By Clair, by Rami, it was nice meeting you, sorry for all the trouble I've caused," Cam says as she walks out the door closing it behind her. "Come let's go to bed" Rami pulls on my hand and leads me to my room, Rami strips down to his boxers, I strip down to my undies and we climb into bed cuddling close under the comforter so the cold December air doesn't get us. "Are we not going to talk about your sister walking in on us?" Rami says I laugh out loud and turn around so I'm face to face with him "God I love you" I kiss him and rest my head on his chest "I love you too" he whispers as I drift to sleep.
