With one last push, I reach down and pull the baby out ''oh my god" I whisper as I admire my little girl "Athena" I whisper her name "It's Athena" I say louder I hear Rami cheer then I remember about skin to skin "Cam help me with my shirt, take it off" she helps and once it's off i rest Athena on my chest on top of my heart. "Clair" Cam whispers as I use my shirt to wipe the gunk out of my screaming girl's eye "Clair we need to cut the cord," cam says I shake my head and say "we have to wait" I whisper and kiss her head.
I look over at Cam, she's staring at my small baby with tears in her eyes "Look haw small she is" I say and lean forward so Rami can see his daughter "She's perfect" he says. KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK "it's the paramedics open up" I hear and Cam runs to get the door leaving Athena, Rami and I to our selfs "I love you so much" I say as I bring my face closer to my daughter and kiss her head, I don't even care about all the fluids on her I just love her so much. "Good morning Ms. walker I'm going to have to take her to check her out" a paramedic comes up to my and pulls her off my chest and walks her to another paramedic that rest her on the bed "okay lets cut the cord," she says. "Clair were going to have to deliver the placenta now, let's have you lay on you back," the paramedic that took Athena from me says when I'm on my back he says "on a count of 3 let's have you push, and well do this about two or three times" I nod my head and he takes hold of the umbilical cord "one... two.. three".
After three pushes the placenta is out, "Cam can you pack me and the babies a bag?" I ask my sister "yep" she replies and walks out of the room, I let out a moan as another contraction hits once it finishes a paramedic helps me to a comfortable position and tells me "when the next contraction hits let's have you push" I nod and in no time I feel another one start to come.
"Annnnd here he is!" the paramedic cheers as she rests my son on my chest "oh my god oh my god!!!" I hear and look over to the computer screen to see Rami and his family watching my son on my chest "we have to wait to cut the cord" I tell the paramedic "wait till the cord stops pulsing" I continue. She nods and says "ok well my partner has to check him and while he does so were going to deliver the placenta" I nod "just like last time" I nod again and start pushing.
