It's been two weeks since our date and everything is going great, we went on another date the next Sunday where he asked me to be his girlfriend and of course I said yes. I've never been so happy I just feel like I'm on top of the world. I still haven't told Cameron who Rami really is, all she knows is that he is so kind and sweet and amazing and his name of course but that's it. But she has been bugging me for us to go on a double date, I haven't agreed to anything yet but I'm nervous for them to meet, what if she goes crazy and fangirls over him like I just got him I don't want her to scare him off.
"Hey babe," Rami says as he sits down at our table, were having a little coffee date at Starbucks while I'm on my lunch break. We sit at our usual table in the far back out of sight from anybody. "I got you, your coffee and sandwich," I told him as I took a bite out of my bagel with cream cheese "you have cream cheese on you lip" Rami points to the side of my mouth and I try to wipe it off with my napkin "no, no you missed it here let me get it" he says and walks over to my side of the table and wipes it with his finger, he quickly pecks me on the lips and walks back to his seat. Rami doesn't like to get all lovey Dovey in public because he is very private and likes to keep his personal life a secret. So when he kissed me I was very surprised "oh well thank you," I say "the pleasure is all mine" he smiles .
"How was work this morning?" Rami asked me after a moment of silence, "It was good today we had an assembly so I got extra planning time but today I have to stay late, I have that meeting with Janis for the choir" I tell him about the meeting I'll have to stay at least and hour and a half extra after school. "You know I've never heard you sing" Rami points out I smile and just when I'm about to reply my phone rings "sorry," I say as I pull my phone out of my purse "it's my sister," I say before answering the phone".
"Hello" I answer "HELLO, hello don't hello me when you've been lying to me this whole time!!!" Cameron yells at me I look at Rami who is looking at me with a confused look "what Cam I've never lied to you" "okay, okay that's right you just left out some important information, like the Rami your dating is FUCKING RAMI MALEK!!!" she yells at me. Both Rami and I look at each other surprised and he pulls out his phone probably to find out how she knows, "ummm how... how do you know that?" "it was on TMZ, Clair you bitch how could you not tell me? I thought we were best friends" "Cameron you bitch I didn't tell you because I knew you would act like this and don't be stupid we are best friends" I try and calm her down.
"Well now we have to have a double date, I have to meet him. God you asshole" Cameron insults me "Well I'll have to check with him but maybe. Okay goodbye, Iove you" I say as I hang up the phone. "Rami she said she saw us on TMZ," I tell him "Yeah I know I found the video," he says and he hands me his phone so I could watch the video. "So we got Rami Malek, the actor from Mr. Robot walking out of the Baune a fancy french restaurant in New York holding hands with a mysterious girl" the pretty women holds up a picture and the camera zooms into the picture where you could see Rami and I walking out of the restaurant holding hands smiling at each other.
"Shit man I didn't even see anyone with a camera then" Rami starts to freak out "Rami it's ok someone probably took a picture and sent it to them but it's fine not a big deal," I say " it is a big deal!" Rami starts to raise his voice starting to gain attention from people around us "I don't want my personal life out in the open and I don't want you getting caught up in the media something could happen" I smile at him for his concern for me and say "Rami then I guess we just have to lay low for a bit. we'll have dates at each others house and when we feel adventurous we'll go to our spot okay" I tell him he nods and says "okay" .
"Well I have to get back to work, the kids are going to be waking up from nap time soon. I'll call you later" I tell him and grab his hand and walk away letting go. As I walk into my car I get a text from one of my co-workers
