Adalyn Parker never thought she would have to tutor the Bad Boy. She was wrong. How can the Bad Boy of the school Nate Garner change how she thinks of him and herself. People can be more then just there image or not?
My annoying alarm starts to go off I quickly shut if off. Today we have to go to school today. I groan, before sitting up in my bed. I rub the sleep out of my eyes before walking to my closet. I put on a light pink top, boyfriend jeans and gray vans. I braid my hair and put on a gray beanie. I slide on my heart ring and I also put on my Compass necklace. I apply light make up before heading downstairs.

I see Nikki and McKenna fully dressed and ready to go. "Your coming to school today?" I ask Nikki. She nods. "It proves how strong I am." She says. I nod. "Okay." I say we quickly eat breakfast before heading to school. I park the car and we quickly walk in. I see a pissed Nash waiting at my locker. I roll my eyes and act like I don't see him. "Okay so your going to act like I'm not here." He says after about 2 minutes. I continue to get stuff out of my locker. 'Why did you do that to my house?" He asks me I roll my eyes. "You know what you did to Nikki you jackass." I say. "I was drunk as stupid. I'm sorry." He calls after me. "Don't tell me tell Nikki that." I say before rounding the corner and heading into my math class.
---Lunch---
Nikki is like her old self again until Nash sits down. She right away shuts up. I look down at my food and continue eating. We go back to talking to Nash blurts out/ "I'm sorry Nikki I was drunk and acting like an idiot. I wouldn't have done that sober and I never want to hurt you. Nikki your the first girl I ever considered a future with and I bet you hate me but I can't live with out telling you I'm sorry." He shuts up and looks back down at his food. Tears start spilling out of her eyes and she runs out of the cafeteria. Me and McKenna make a move to follow her but Nash stops us. "I should go after her." He says before running out after her.
Nikki's POV
I sit outside the lunch room crying. Thank god no one has seen me yet I'm sure I look like a fucking raccoon. Why did I have to fall for him. This as to be hard on Adalyn. I know she wants to do the right thing but I don't even know what the right thing is anymore. I hear the door open and shut. "Nikki I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you cry." I hear Nash's soft caring voice say. "Your fine." I say as I wipe my face. "Nikki, I did mean every word I said in there I didn't mean any of the things I said at prom well after I got drunk." I lightly chuckle. He sits down beside me. "I really care about you and I want to start over." "I I don't know, I just don't want to get hurt because this time if felt like my heart got crushed you said you just wanted me for sex and it made me feel used and dirty." I say.
"I never want you to feel that way especially from something I said." Nash says. "The things your saying there just words how do I know your telling the truth?" I ask him. He take my hand in his. "By saying we'll take it slow and that I'll be ready when you are to make anything official." He tells me. I bite my lip. "So friends?" I ask him while extending my hand. He nods. "Friends." I stand up and head toward the bathroom. "Where are you going?" Nash asks me. "The bathroom to fix my make up Duh?" I say. "Why you make a cute raccoon." He tells me I laugh. "Yeah sure."
Adalyn's POV
Nikki comes back I guess she went to fix her make up. I take a bite of my food when I feel a tap on my shoulder. I turn around and see the principle standing there. "Principle Brice, Hi wh- what can I do for you?" I ask her. "I would like to speak to you in my office." I nod. I look at Nate. "I haven't done anything." He tells me. I look at Hunter. He shakes his head no. I quickly get up and follow her to her office. "Did something happen to my father?" I ask her as I sit down. "No dear your father is fine I wanted to talk to you about graduation." She says as she takes off her glasses. "What about?" "You are this years valedictorian." She tells me smiling. My mouth drops open. "What?" I ask her. She chuckles. "You will have to prepare a speech and it will take place after everyone gets there diplomas." I nod. "I can't believe graduation is so close." I say. "Me too I hope you have a good rest of the day Adalyn." She tells me. I stop in my tracks.
"You know my name?" I ask her. She smiles and nods. "Yes you are one of the top students here of course I know your name." She says. "Oh okay, have a good day." I tell her before shutting the door to her office. I smile all the way back to lunch. I can't believe I just got that. My mom would be so proud. I walk back into the cafiteria and sit back down in my seat. "Your still alive so Brice didn't each your for lunch so what did she want?" Hunter asks me. "She wanted to tell me I got Valedictorian." I say. "That's amazing!" McKenna and Nikki say before giving me a hug. "Congrats." The twins and hunter tell me. "I'm so proud of you." Nate says before giving me a hug and a kiss on the lips. "Your mom would be proud of you." Nash says. I smile. "She would be." I say,
---After School---
When we get back to the house I see rose pedals going from the drive way to our front door. McKenna and Nikki are smiling and pushing me forward. I open the door and follow the trail till I see Nate standing there with a banner behind him that says congratulations. "I'm taking you out to celebrate tonight. Just you and me." Nate says. I walk closer to him and pull him into a hug. "Thank you." I whisper into his chest. "You ready?" He asks me. I smile and nod. He leads me out of the house and around back where he stashed his car. "That's why I didn't see you car." I say before getting in the passenger side. "Where are we?" I ask him. "I come here to clear my head and I want to show you something I like to do here." He says before getting out of the car leading me into a clearing. My mouth drops open when I see a truck bed filled with blankets and pillows.
"Nate this is beautiful." I say. "You like it." He says. I turn around to face him. "No, I love it." I tell him before kissing him. His arms wrap around my waist and mine around his neck. His tongue licks my bottom lips asking for entrance which I grant. We pull apart when we run out of air. "I love it when I kiss you." Nate says as he gives me a kiss on the forehead. I smile up at him. "Me too." I say. He picks me up bridal style and carefully lays me down in the track bed before laying down net to me. I lay my head on his chest he wraps his arm around my waist. He takes my other hand and starts playing with my hart ring. I don't know why but it makes me feel closer to him when he does that.
We watch the sunset and wait for the stars to appear. "You know the funny thing about stars?" Nate asks me. "No." I say looking at him. "There is always one star that look brighter then the others. To me that star is you." He says. A big smile comes on my face. "You are that to me too." I say. "I better be. Lets dace." He says. I chuckle. "Why?" I ask. "Never got to finish that a prom." He says. I smile and he helps me out of the truck bed. He takes out his phone and puts on Stitches by Shawn Mendes. He starts spinning me around and dancing me around the grass. He takes me by surprise when he picks me up and spins me around. "What was that for?" I ask him as he puts me down. "So I can see if you really are the brightest star in the galaxy and you are." He says. I feel my face start to go red. "You look so hot when you blush." Nate tells me. I chuckle. "I don't think so." I say. We keep dancing for a few more songs and then we go back to watching the stars.
I start to drift in an out of sleep. "You ready to go?" He asks me. "Yeah." I say before yawning. When we get back to my house he give me a quick peck on the forehead before heading back to his car. I tell McKenna and Nikki about my date before heading up to my nice warm comforting bed.
