Artsy Lifestyle 📺📚

Hey guys! It's been quite a while since I last posted a blog up on this little space of mine. So here's the next one. Sorry for being so inactive lately!

Not very sure when this thought of pursuing the more artsy side of life decided to step foot into the treacherous waters of my mind. But that's not the point. Part of this imaginary 'hard-core club', it's really just about embarking on a journey to seek that side of life that suits ourselves the most.
Our lives are one of the most precious possessions, if you can even call it that, that God has ever bestowed upon us. It is the one thing that deserves our utmost appreciation and gratitude. We can't and certainly will not just throw it aside carelessly. Every minute, every second and every moment is meant to cherish. Spending the entire span of time given to embrace ourselves and the nature, and everything in its purest and most original forms. I think it's just everything y'know, the widest range, from our weirdness, eccentric personalities, differences, the trials and tribulations, conflicts and struggles to the people from all walks of life surrounding us. The rapid-paced lifestyle forces us to keep up, either jogging or running, to be ahead. How often do we slow down our footsteps to look around us and appreciate what we have, own.

Being the one and only one, doesn't actually make you the one and only one in the whole wide world. If everyone is the 'UNIQUE' since birth, it means that we all share that common trait. So does it still apply, the part where all and sundry are each a distinctive individual?

Embracing the whole of obstacles and events thrown into my path is something that I had planned to do ever since I started becoming my sensible, thoughtful self. I understood and accepted the fact that we are forever tangled in this Daedalian, involute and intricate society.

Photography.
First of all, I would like to clarify that I ain't no professional photographer. Sure, I do attend courses, workshops and stuff, picking up small tips of expertise, but I was not trained to be one. Sadly. I just think it's amazing. It is something that can't be simply described and put into words.

"If I can see pain in your eyes then share with me your tears. If I can see joy in your eyes then share with me your smile." Santosh Kalwar

A camera, no matter top-notch or cheapskate, can produce any desired quality of pictures. Through these pictures, stories can be told. They can tell a thousand words, they are opened to be interpreted freely by everyone with unique responses flooding in. Yet, only the person who took that picture is aware of the real story behind the picture. And only a teeny-weeny bit of change can affect the perspective in which people view the picture. It's a phenomenal thing.Something worth learning and spending my time on. This one of the rarest that can tie and connect everyone together in an inexplainable and inexplicit way.

Exercise + Pink of Health.
I don't know what is it about health and exercise. I used to hate - loathe even - the idea of getting lazy ass off the chair to do even a simple warm-up. All full of complaints, I will start whining on how I would rather do a 100 compositions than all of this. But that escalated quickly. I am now obsessed with fruits and juices, milk and energy drinks. From consuming an apple / one serving of fruits, purchasing organic snack bars to hydrating my own self with a glass of chocolate. I like to think that my body is now a trillion times stronger than before, judging the amount of calcium and vitamins intake.

Nature - park. museums. galleries.
[based on Singapore's locations]
The peaceful silence and tranquility is something I relish in when visiting these places. These are places where we can get some pretty good shots too.

Being close to nature, let's you get calmed and collected. All those negative thoughts and frustrating matters at hand get thrown out of the window. You focus only on the beauty surrounding you. An occasional greenery benefits our over-working eyes too! (Everyone is constantly keeping up-to-date and completing tasks via the functions of a phone and computer - you don't wish to hurt your eyes) We often find ourselves running to try keep up with the fast-paced life and rarely slow down our footsteps to treasure and be grateful for what we are given. It is the little glimpses of Mother Nature and a break from the urban city. The wide variation of landscapes, from the prepossessing and fragrant flowers, scenic sunsets to the insects which inhabits the parks. The vivid colours just brightens up my moody day.

Museums are definitely an avenue to seek the truth about our own history and past. The relic and artifacts were once buried six feet under, grim and dirty and are fragile, and yet they each tell the archaeologists stories from their perspective. To me, it's comparable to a walk down the memory lane, flashing back and understanding our roots and identity. We put ourselves in our ancestors' shoes, trying to see and understand what hardships they went through to get us where we are today. Our success is owed to them. Learning new facts and gain extra knowledge certainly do no harm.

Galleries - painting after paintings; products after products. I like how every brush and stroke of an artist mean something. Even down to the minor details like the texture, hand movement, colour - they mean something, something that we will never be able to decipher and apprehend. The hard work, love and passion poured into each piece of work is displayed through the brilliance of their work. Some are poetic, some are just out of pure inspiration or triggered by anything or anyone and some are to depict a story, a hidden message. I find myself incessantly so wondering what the artist is putting forth. It's like a mystery that can be solved. I like that feeling of a search. A search to find answers for each and every painting.

This is something I thought I will never be able to pen down (or type) in words. But I thought it would be worth to give it a shot and see your responses. I kind of enjoy and get on off the idea of sharing just everything - random stuff - with you guys. So tell me what you think. Comment, vote and share to show your like and support!
