"Crowley? Your dad? The King of Hell?!" I roared. "Is this a joke??"
"Dean, please." Satan jr. started, but I cut him off.
"No way! Crowley has done us over enough. I can't believe I let his pissy little human killer in my baby!!!" I was hot and ready to strangle the kid. How could Crowley drop his shitty spawn off on us??
"Dean, shut the hell up and look at me." Trevor growled, smoke coming from his body.
"What?" I said through grit teeth, looking at him.
"Yes, Crowley is my dad. But that handprint was his, too. And I'm done...I don't want to be the prince of Hell. I heard him talking about the Winchester's and I wanted to be a part of anything he hates." He sat back and crossed his arms, "so I left during one of my lessons...and searched for you guys. But I had to come off as skiddish and scared...human, if you will."
Sam was silent for the longest, "so...you want to betray your father?"
"More than anything."
"And you're not scared of his punishment?" Sam continued.
"Nope. I mean, he can try to destroy me or keep me as a caged pet for eternity, but I was trained by him and his kingdom. It wouldn't be wise for him to test his training." He was confident.
"Well, Sammy, looks like we've got a trump card against that slimy, evil bastard." I looked at my brother for a sign of approval. He nodded.
"I did have a feeling about him. Let's see how it goes."
"There was a case...I was hoping you two would find interesting.." Trevor trailed off.
I started the car back up, "what's up?"
"Well...it's sort-of in...Japan..."
"There better be ghosts, demons, poltergeists, and demented angels if it's that far. That's insane."
"But Dean! The supernatural exists worldwide. It's not just an American issue..." Trevor huffed.
"He's right, we should try to broaden our horizons." Sam began.
I sighed, "well kid, what's going on?"
"There's a school, right?? But it's not your average school. It begins with a sacred chant that's supposed to keep you close to your friends that you preformed it with. But if even one single thing gets messed up the angry spirit that rules it switches dimensions and traps them in the ghost side of the school. Where they're lost forever, because no one in the real world can find them." He grabbed Sam's laptop and started researching. "The school that's evil is called Heavenly Host Elementary, it was torn down after kids and staff went missing, over it they built the new school. The charm that alters the universe is the Sachiko Ever After charm. Now there is a current group reported missing a week, a teacher that was in a neighboring classroom said he saw the group preforming the charm but didn't see anyone leave after the sudden earthquake that seemed to happen moments after he saw them."
"Let's get there and wipe the floor with some angry spirits, Sammy." My stomach tied with knots. I thought it was a high school. But it was an elementary school. Little kids scared me, they had their own ominous evil about them. Especially dead ones.
"Hey, Trevor, you think you could look up how to do the charm?" Sam looked back at him. He quickly agreed and began searching.
"Says here, we just need to fold up some paper and cut a body figure out of it and while chanting these words we have to hold it in a circle and chant the last phrase however many number of times of the number of people in the group, no more or less, and pull the figure in thirds. But in order to get to Heavenly Host, we gotta screw up."
"Ugh, creepy little dead kids." I shuddered.
"Jeez, calm down, Dean. We haven't even gotten to the airport yet." Sam patted my arm. I groaned.
"Great, a friggen plane!" I drove to the nearest mall so we could get clothes for Trevor. We bought him a few different articles and his own suit case and went from there to the airport. I walked up to the ticket booth and got us each one. Trevor was jumping up and down with excitement.
"I've never been to Tokyo! Oooweee. How long is it gonna take?" Trevor tugged on my shirt.
I checked the tickets, "gross...almost ten friggen hours. Nice. Looks like I'm gonna be taking a long nap. Let's go find some food and then our gate." We trudged into the crowd. Trevor was whipping his head around ninety to nothing, taking in as much as he could. His laces had come untied and he tripped, grabbing Sammy's pant leg.
Sam kneeled down and helped him stand back up, "you okay, buddy?"
Trevor nodded, biting his bottom lip. His nose had started bleeding. "Oh, no.."
"Trevor? What's going on?" I leaned down and pushed some napkins to his nose as we shifted out of people's way.
He squeezed his eyes shut and held his head back, "I haven't used my...abilities since running into you two. I didn't want to scare or hurt either of you."
"Abilities?"
He tugged on his new shirt bottom. "Uh, yeah...I am telekinetic, and can manipulate fire to my advantage."
"A friggen fire bender??" I stuffed my fist in my mouth. "Well, thanks for not making me a human torch." I scoffed.
"Dean..stop." Sam stood next to me and fixed me with his famous naggy little brother look.
"Ugh, this just keeps getting better!" I looked at Trevor, "what can we do to help?"
He folded up the napkin and shoved it in his pocket, "I'm not sure...but if nose bleed is as bad as it gets, I can handle it.."
My gut kinda clenched up and I felt bad for having been mean to him earlier, "are you hungry? Maybe some ice cream or something?"
His eyes lit up, "ooh, chocolate ice cream?"
Sammy laughed and patted Trevor's back, "Absolutely, let's go"
We walked around, searching for somewhere to get the kid a cone and settled into one of their booths; each of us with a cone.
Trevor devoured his within minutes, his Crowley features peeking through, "mmm! Thanks! This is good."
When we finished up we were finally able to wait at our gate without interruptions. I settled into my seat and dozed off."C'mon, Dean, plane's ready." Sam was shaking me awake. We climbed aboard and settled into our seats. Luckily, it was a three-seater and we all got a side together, with Trevor in the middle.
I could feel my heart beat quicken as everyone else piled on and go in their seats. I rested my head against the seat and fell back to sleep.
