The upstairs held nothing of interest. Nothing too terribly scary, either. We didn't see Morishige when we walked back through. The school was deathly silent. The only sound was of our shoes slapping the creaky floorboards.
"I wonder which building the basement is in." Trevor thought out loud.
"We're gonna check this one and-" before I could finish that thought the school tripped us up as it rocked back and forth. Sammy locked his legs and scooped both kids up so they didn't get injured. It must've been so nice to be tall. I fell to my knees, and gripped the floor with my fingers to hold steady.
"Everyone okay?" I clenched my eyes shut and felt my way up a wall. The dust was definitely riled up.
A weak "yeah" chorused from them. I dusted myself off and opened my eyes to see us in a small classroom, different than the one the boys and I landed in.
I groaned immediately, "another friggen classroom."
"Looks like the ghosts wanted us here." Sammy placed the children on their feet and began searching the area. The rest of us split up and did the same around other areas. We searched in silence; observing and taking everything in.
Trevor stood in front of the wall by the door, "There's a newspaper article. It talks about the gruesome murders." He shuddered and opened the door next to him.
"Glad to see it's not locked." Yoshiki rested his hand on his face.

Before we walked out, Trevor motioned us to lean in. "Seriously, guys, I think this holds significance. There were four murders, but each one was a little different. They all had their tongues removed, as well as having been stabbed in the abdomen several times. One had her whole top half of her head cut off. One had her eye stabbed in until it was like soup. One got stabbed in the eye with sewing scissors. Gross. And then the little boy, who had his whole stomach slit open." He pushed the article closer to his face, "it says that they were looking for the tongues, but never found them."

I sighed, "so every time I hear this story it always revolves around the tongues. Are we going on a tongue finding quest?"

"If it helps solve the issues, yes." Sam tapped my chest.

Yuka nervously bit her thumbnail, "I really hope we find Satoshi-kun this go around." Naomi wrapped her arms around Yuka as we left; taking the article with us.
We walked close together down the halls, observing the remains of students from different schools in random corners we passed. There was a puddle of blood in front of the infirmary.
"Jesus friggen Christ, what's up with this one?" I placed my hand on the doorknob and felt a jolt of electricity. I lurched backwards, "damn thing shocked me."
Sammy hiked his leg up and kicked the door in. Yoshiki rolled his eyes, "I could've helped, man."
Sammy waved him off, "just c'mon, there's lots of junk in here to sort through."
Naomi, who had been silent and ghost faced, shook her head, "There's definitely something up with that one..I got attacked by a shadowy figure and locked in by clumps of black hair..I was so terrified I told Seiko I'd never go back in..but as long as you guys don't leave me." Her eyes widened as she gripped the front of my shirt.
We stood outside while everyone else walked passed us. I threw my arm over her shoulders and drew her closer, "don't worry, little lady, you're definitely safe with us. You just gotta listen to what we say and don't hesitate about it. We've been dealing with tricky things like this all our lives." I looked into the room at Sammy, "hell..our dad has been training that one before he could wipe his own ass. We weren't children, we were soldiers."
Naomi looked up at me, "what a sad way to live..but you guys are heroes..supernatural heroes. I wish more people knew about what you guys do...so you could get the recognition you deserve."
I chuckled, "we don't do it for that. We do it for the innocent lives it saves."
She smiled, "thank you, Dean. I can go inside now." We walked in together and I went over to Sammy to see what he recovered.
"Got this diary on the desk...looks like the nurse's. I think the principal might know more than he let on..he was sleeping with her. And check this out." We walked to a poster beside the desk on the wall and he motioned for me to read it. It was a diagram on how to dismantle a human body.
"This is some sick shit." I turned around to see what Trevor found when the door slammed shut and the lights flickered crazily. I pulled my shotgun out and Sam turned on his flashlight. The girls huddled up behind us. I handed Trevor the salt and Yoshiki helped guard the girls.
A little girl with dark black hair and a long sleeveless red dress appeared in front of us. She cocked her head to the side and clicked her tongue at us.
"Who are you?" I demanded, pointing my gun at her.
She giggled into her hands, "it doesn't matter who I am. What matters is you will all die here." She threw her head back and laughed. Then she lurched forward towards me. I blasted my gun and told Trevor to pour the salt around us. Once the circle was completed the ghost girl ran around it, screaming.
"LET ME IN! LETMEIN!" She chanted, stomping her feet as she whisked away into smoke.
The girls whimpered behind us, and Trevor passed the Holy Water to Yoshiki. "You know how to use it?" Yoshiki nodded. The girl didn't return, but we waited for a few more painfully silent moments before leaving the salt circle and infirmary.
Naomi threw her arms around my waist, "Dean-pai.." she breathed, "you and Sam are so brave. I was so scared when I was alone, but with all of us...I felt so strong. Still a little scared, but I didn't feel as hopeless." We were standing in the hallway as I hugged her back.
"I told you..we are here to solve this case, and save all of you. This is our job." I patted her back, and she let go.
Yuka tugged on my shirt, "what about Satoshi-kun?"
I ruffled her hair, "I'm gonna search every universe here for him. We'll find him." She beamed and hugged me, too.
"Well..Let's see what else we can find." We continued walking; Sam and I using the flashlights to guide the path due to even more dim lighting.
"Now..if I were Satoshi, where would I be?" I kept my eyes glued on the path ahead of us. "We gotta find the basement. I feel like it's essential to getting outta here."
All the doors we tried to open were locked, except one. Classroom A1. I opened the door to see a lady laying under a shelf. "Miss Yui!!!" The school students, and Yuka, ran to the teacher's side.
"K-kids.." she coughed, "I'm so glad you guys are okay. Where's Satoshi? And Mayu?"
Naomi grimly told her teacher about the still missing Satoshi, and Mayu's death. Sammy, Trevor, Yoshiki, and I hauled the shelf off her. It was a wonder she was still alive. Miss Yui's eyes filled and tears spilled out. We helped her sit up.
"I can't hold you guys back, please go without me." She coughed, blood oozing out from between her hands that were covering her mouth.
"We can't!" Naomi and Seiko's voices rang out in unison.
She wiped her eyes, "class, while I was alone, I had a few visitors. One of them told me it'd be near impossible to get out alive, especially if you don't have your scrap of the charm." She smiled shlyly, "I didn't participate in that one. I do hope you all have yours."
The class nodded, indicating they had safe spots. Yuka panicked and began hyperventilating.
Sammy held her into his chest, "Yuka, what's up?"
"I- didn't - have a piece - either." She hiccups, tilting her head back to sob again.
"I guess it's a good thing I picked this up." I reached into my wallet and pulled out the slip of paper I found the first time we saw Mayu's bodily fluids. "I'm guessing it was Mayu's, I was planning to give it to her when we found her....before..." I trailed off, handing it cautiously to Yuka.
Yuka gingerly placed it in her ID holder, and threw her arms around my neck. She pushed her face into my neck as she sobbed thank you.
"Good, so you'll be on your way then?" Miss Yui asked, looking at each of the kids.
They clung together, tears streaming, "we will miss you."

Miss Yui smiled, blood sliding down the side of her mouth, "as I will be watching over you, children, never forget what made you." She coughs; blood splattering the floor. Her head lolls forward, telling us her spirit was no longer connected to her body. Sammy heaves Yuka up into his arms, shielding her from looking any more. Trevor fixed me with a look.

"What's up?" I started helping the students gather themselves.

"So you need the charm to get in and to get out. I hope Satoshi has his." Trevor's scratching his chin.

Yuka's head pops up off Sammy's shoulder, "my Onii-chan is always protective of his belongings. If he even had the slightest gut feeling to keep it; he did."

I patted her back, "don't worry, sweetheart, we're getting you all out of here."

"Except Mayu..." Yoshiki grumbled under his breath.

I glared at him, "look, kid, I tried. You don't think that sort of shit won't haunt me for the rest of my life? Because it always friggen does. You can't even begin to KNOW the things my brother and I have done and been through just to keep oblivious humans like you safe." I sighed, rubbed my hands over my face, "I know losing someone is tough. It's not going to ever be easy. But we can't let them die in vain, do you understand? If I let even one more person die here; she will have died for nothing. Sammy and I aren't down for that. We didn't even want her gone. Trust that." I didn't wait for anyone to reply, I grabbed the bags and left. Trevor scrambled for the other bag and ran close behind me. Sam, still holding Yuka, brought up the rear.

"You always were my favorite." Trevor's beaming, one hand holding the strap of the backpack resting on his back. The other hand gripped one of the flashlights.

"Favorite? What the hell are you talking about?" I flashed my light along the walls, floors, ceiling.

He chuckled, "the longer we spend together; the more I remember. My dad always talked about you Winchester's. I'm actually surprised now that I forgot the stories. It was very love/hate-esque." His head fell back and he actually laughed, "but I definitely remember in all the stories; you were my favorite. I remember being way younger; jumping on my bed, pretend fighting you. Thinking I was going to protect Hell from you. But after working with you two, I can see why dad never stopped helping. Even when you weren't on the best of terms; you guys still fought together."

I snorted. "Wow. Crowley Jr. Following close behind dear daddy."

He elbowed my side, "shut up. I'm going to go my own way. You know I'm sick of him, but who wouldn't want to fight alongside you guys?"

We get to another set of steps, I hold my arm out to stop the gang. "That is a very touching story, Trev, but I'm still sure this won't be the last fight we stand together in." I beam the light up the flight of steps.

Sam put Yuka down and stepped up to where Trevor and I stood. He beamed the light around us, "we cool? I'm getting the creepiest vibe from this spot." After he said that, Naomi let out a wicked scream.
