The cold air was hitting my skin, it felt nice. I felt an arm around my waist and eyes widened trying to remember what happened yesterday.

I took Benny's arm off and fixed my shorts. I walked to the bathroom tripping over a lump on the floor.

"OWE!" Smalls yelled. While I laughed grabbing my ankle. "What the hell happened?" James said coming into the room with his baseball bat.

I stood up and dusted myself off. "You okay?" I helped a sleepy and confused Smalls up. I hugged him and made sure he was all good.

James pulled me into the hallway with a pissed and concerned look. "Benny slept with you in your bed last night?" I nodded pushing him aside.

"So..?" I said. "Taay he obviously likes you, he came up with all the stuff we did last night to make you feel better..." I looked at him with a big cheesy smile but also I was very confused.

"Probably just means he's a good friend... That's all James now would you get it go?" I went back to the bathroom and fixed my hair and brushed my teeth.

I smelled something cooking so I ran down stairs almost falling, again. "Slow your roll child. There is plenty of food for all of us."

I smiled as he ruffled my hair. Taking my plate I put some food on it. "Yum this is amazing!" Benny said and moved my chair for me to sit down.

"Thank you." I said watching as they all got ready for the sandlot. I ran back to my room after they left and put on my dad's shirt and my ripped shorts.

I put my hair up in a cap and ran out the door. Eventually I reached the Sandlot and watched as my brother blew them all away.

He took off towards first base. They all watched him as he stopped on third base. I screamed and went up to the bat, I watched the ball coming closer and closer.

I hit the ball and took off running towards the bases. We continued playing and cheering each other on.

The sun started going down after hours of being at the Sandlot, but then I walked home with my brother. "Taay... He's just a friend, right? I won't have to worry when I go?"

I hit his shoulder playing around. "No I don't like him... No worries" I put my hands up surrendering. "Can we watch movies when we get home?" I asked.

"Sure, I know just the one's!" He took off in a sprint reaching the house. I watched as he picked up "The Lost Boys".

I smiled and ran into my room to get in the shower and freshen up. I sat by him and my dog Marley watching the love of my life on screen.
