Taylee was a average girl moving from Place to place, but instead, this time at the end of her sophomore year she moved from Ohio, to the Valley.
She was helping her big brother unpack and playing with the mud and dirt, so that didn't go well. Taylee wondered into space watching the kids run past their new home.
She had lived with her older brother after her mom and dad died in a car accident. On the other hand, her brother was in the military so he pretty much was all over the place and wasn't really with us at all. But, he came to the funeral.
Taylee then got up admiring her new room, it was so empty, but it had a couple of things. She thought it wouldn't be the same as her old house back in Ohio.
She made her bed trying to give the white blank walls and torn blinds a feel of home.
Her feet kicking at her baseball box while she sat down on her bed was fascinating to her, she picked up her dads old jersey and wrapped it around herself, laying down.
She stared into space, looking at nothing and remembering his last words "you'll be safe." She always blamed herself for his death, she cried and begged for his attention while driving.
Her thoughts soon vanished and darkness surrounded her in her empty new room.
