It was about 8:30 by now and Jack and I were on our way to the airport and I was driving. Jack was touching my thigh and reminding me about how much he loves me and will miss me. To be honest I wasn't listening much as I was concentrating on the roads as my vision was blurry from my tearful eyes. It probably wasn't safe but we were fine. We arrived at the airport and I followed Jack through until I wasn't aloud any further. I jumped into jacks arms and kissed him. Holding him close knowing that's not going to happen for another 11 months. I cried and cried and so did Jack. "I love you gorgeous" I whispered into his ear. " I love you Alexa, so much, don't forget that or me" "and don't forget me" I replied. As he walked away I cried, he looked back every second and mouthed "I love you, goodbyes baby"
And that was it, he was gone, for 11 months.
