Mum spread the picnic blanket in the shade of a humongous oak tree and sent the boys to get ice cream for everyone.
'Well, it's not too bad of a day then, is it?' said dad.
'If only you could have made the sandwiches without blowing up half the town,' said Stacy sarcastically.
'Hey! Sandwich making is an incredibly hard art!' he replied, oblivious to the sarcasm in her voice.
'Oh, will you two shush? The boys need help bringing all the ice cream back,' mum declared, annoyed.
And so, the Lindsay family, as well as the protesters who had managed to scare away the businessmen, finally got to enjoy their picnic.
