"Miracle.." The voice belonged to Memory my best friend we were putting my plan in motion tonight while the moon was out and every one including that monster of a water dweller Keith and my parents were sound asleep in their beds. "Miracle, are you awake?" I opened the door for Memory "yes of course i am" we both giggled quietly as Memory closed the door. As we swam over to my bed i couldn't help but ask about Theo. It's almost been a full year and the moon get's fuller every night.. my wedding night will soon be here. This trap my parents had planed with Keith was almost complete but they had no idea of my plan to leave. My heart does not lie with in Keith and it never will but he does not see that. "are you ready for this?" Memory's voice was concerned and her face full of worry until i answered after a deep breath. "Tell me how Theo is" Memory nodded her head and smiled slightly "every time i check on him, he is by the water trying to feel you close to the island" my thoughts wondered back to the day i had told Theo about my secret world his green eyes were so full of interest and curiosity.
"Your remembering him" Memory brought me back i looked at her dark brown eyes nodding slowly "i miss him, it has been to long" Memory took my hand and spoke softly "you will be with him soon" a smile came across both our faces. "yes your right and tonight will be my last night here" We hugged and started to pack our things. Before we could get to far a small figure appeared as the door opened and my heart nearly stopped both Memory and I froze. Kiran swam in as quietly as his voice "what are you.." he glanced over at my shell covered bed where a calm pack sat then looked back to me. "where are you going Miracle?" The boy was so Innocent and had no part in this but i couldn't tell him my plan when i wasn't fully sure of what it was. I looked to Memory and she shook her head slightly. but i ignored it "He deserves to know" We both agreed silently as i looked back to the Small boy " Kiran come in quietly and close the door please" He did as i requested and came to my side. "lets make a deal" he nodded as a smile came to his face "i like deals" I tried not to giggle but then it passed i got to his eye level and started to explain "okay here's the deal, I'm going away for a while but you cant tell anyone not even mom and dad" he looked confused then he caught on to where i was going.
"are you leaving Keith?" my heart pumped faster at the thought of being free from Keith "yes i am he is not a good man" Kiran nodded in agreement "i know he just wants to trap you" Kiran looked around as if to check if anyone could over hear then looked back at and motioned me to lean in close for a secret. " i think you and Theo belong together" a smile came to my face and i couldn't control my happiness i turned to Memory "it's okay he understands whats happening" Kiran looked to Memory who was still leery on the idea of Kiran knowing "i wont tell, i want my sister to be happy and Theo makes her happy" Memory nodded surprised at the little boys maturity. "okay Kiran you can sleep in hear tonight if you would like i'm leaving tomorrow night" Kiran looked at me with a smile "okay" Kiran was curled up on my shell and sleeping before i could say goodnight for the last time. Memory and I continued preparing our things as she spoke "Hue is going to come to he wants to see this land dweller your so taken with" laughing quietly i nodded "okay" when we had finished packing my shell bag Memory went back to her room and i snuggled in beside my little brother for the night.
"Miracle" i woke to small hands gently taping my shoulder "Keith is looking for you" unwillingly i pulled myself out of my bed as Kiran got my sea comb for my hair. Right on Que the door opened and Keith with his stern look came in "don't you knock anymore" I sounded drowsy as i took the sea comb from Kiran i gave him a little smile we both new a secret that Keith had no recollection of. Keith just laughed "soon i will have no need to knock we will live together" he sounded smug as if he new everything. The thought of being with Keith made me feel sick to my stomach "as my future husband you should respect my wish's" Taking this into consideration he nodded slowly then spoke again "yes this is true" Keith looked to Kiran "you should not be in here little one" I shot Keith a look "how dare you, he is my brother he can come visit me when ever he see's fit" keeping my voice strong i swam over to where Kiran was and wrapped him into a hug as Keith came further into my room "i have offended you" i rolled my eyes before answering "yes when you try and order my family about when it is not your place to do so" Taking Kiran's hand i lead him out into the long hall way outside of my room glancing back i seen Keith playing with my sea comb that was now resting on my bed.
